Nd Filter Or Polarizer

[62 mm to 77 mm] I use this to attack my B+W 67mm ND filter to my 62 mm B+W Polarizer filter and/or some of my other 62mm lenses

[3.1 x 3 x 0.9"] Since this is a variable Polarizer, I also use it like a ND filter to cut down the light. Most of the time I keep it at the maximum 5 setting. But if it is cloudy I can reduce the polarizer effect and let in more light. For me, it is like have several ND filters with the advantage of great color in sunlight.

[0.06 lb] I was concerned about the look and was not sure if it works well.When I saw it, it looks great works fine.It is easy to put it onto the lens thread and nicely fits into Lee SB 150 filter holder and looks great. I love it and don't have to hold my Galen Rowell ND filter in front of my 95mm lens any more and now I'm using Lee SB150 filter holder for my other lenses using step up rings.Another nice thing is that since I have 95mm circular polarizer attached to this 150-95mm ring, it's easy to put the Lee SB 150 filter holder to any sizes of lenses and I have one more slot available to stack second ND filter or other filter in my Lee SB filter holder. Now I still use 150*150mm square Lee circular polarizer into the first slot of Lee SB150 filter holder and the Galen Rowell ND filter onto the second slot for my 14-24mm Nikkor lens.However, I have a second slot available free now since I could attach my 95mm Singh Ray circular polarizer onto the 150-95mm step up ring and don't need a 150*150mm square circular polarizer attached to my SB150 Lee filter holder any more, I have two slots available for filters. And it is much better and convenient to use otherwise a very bulky and big SB 150 filter holder with square large size ND filter(I use 150*225mm square Galen Rowell ND filter and it sticks out and needs to be used carefully) But now I could use it for other lenses and don't have to hand hold ND filter anymore. It works very nicely for me.

[0.27 lb] Upgraded from Cokin P system to 100m filters and could not be happier. The polarizer works extremely well adding consistent polarizing effect with no color cast. The effect is richer than a screw-on Heliopan (always hard to turn) and more subtle/realistic than an earlier Tiffen. The magnetic feature allows simple adding/removal/turning of the polarizer without the filter holder in place (directly on the adapter ring). It also can stay in place with the holder on to allow stacking NDs with the polarizer. The holder goes on and off easily allowing for test exposure without an ND then adding ND in the holder easily without having to slide the filter into the holder every time. This avoids any camera movement, especially with external focus/zoom lens elements. The velvet surface of the holder next to the first slot eliminates light bleed even with a 10-stop ND under bright conditions. Great value for a filter system and polarizer. Paired this with Haida Nano ND and ND graduated filters (excellent quality but cheaper than the Kase versions) and would highly recommend this setup for quality and ease of use for the money.

[7 x 6.7 x 1.9"] It actually works really well. I like it. As the FX6 already has internal ND i'm able to put in a black mist filter or polarizer so its pretty neat.

[Aluminum] Adding the circular polarizer to the filter holder makes it much easier to use a polarizer and ND Filters at the same time. This is a well built unit with a quality filter.

[0.65 lb] I am learning about landscape photography, waterfalls in particular. The polarizer and ND filter are nice to work with producing colors are are natural. I plan of getting some stronger ND filters in the future.

I use these filter holders for my 5 & 10 stop ND and circular polarizer filters for long exposure photography. SO EASY to just pop off and back on with the magnetic holder rather than screwing/unscrewing filters every time a focus or other adjustment is required.
