[PhotoshopCAFE] I've had the Panorama P4 for a month now and it's amazing. You can control just about anything in Reason from the Controller itself. The only thing's that's not so great is that sometimes I have to restart it for it to link to Reason and the Surface Locking that has be enabled every time you make a new project, but if you create a template, you just load that and that's it. 5 |

[9.5 lb] I am just getting into MIDI. I'd heard great things about the Nektar MIDI controllers and I was particularly interested because they come with specific setup protocols for individual DAWS. I'm a reaper user and the Impact L25+ mated perfectly with it. Great value and a lot of capabilities for 99 bucks. 5 |

[4.45 lb] I was looking for a synth action controller to replace my old Korg Wavestation, which is, in my opinion, the best synth action ever. Is not for everyone, though, since is so light, you can fly on lead passages, but is not very comfortable for pianos or organs. But the problem is that, since is a fully fledged synth, is big and heavy. Not really practical to move it around gigs. Anyway, to my amazement, the Nektar action is so light and smooth, not at all plasticky or spongy as many other controllers I've tried, that I can now put my trusty to Wavestation rest. As a plus, is very light and small overall, as much as I can fit both my main controller (M-Audio Code 61) and the Nektar on the same SKB hard case, how convenient is that? Build quality is top notch. Can't talk about long term, since I've only used it for a few weeks, but looks and feels very well built, it doesn't squeak when squeezed, buttons and dials are great and responsive, configuring it is a breeze, and it does have a multi function plug for either a sustain or expression pedal. That is very nice to me, since I'll be adding another expression pedal to control my left hand, while I use the other for the left. In a nutshell, I believe the Nektar GX49 is without doubt the best sub 100$ 49 key controller in the market. 5 |

[6.15 lb] The M-Audio Keystation 49 MK3 is an excellent choice for beginners or casual users looking for a simple, portable, and affordable MIDI controller. While it lacks some of the bells and whistles of more advanced controllers, it provides a solid foundation for virtual instrument control, DAW navigation, and music production. The included software bundle adds great value, making it a well-rounded package for those just starting in the world of MIDI and digital music. 5 |

This is fairly simple to use and feels really sturdy. I used it to hold a 49-key midi keyboard over my 88 key. It works really well for that purpose, and I don't find that it inhibits my view of the bottom keyboard all that much. Plus, the angle is adjustable, so you can get it where you want it. This is way cheaper than buying an additional tiered stand, and I highly recommend it. 5 |

[7.74 lb] The Samson Graphite 49 works splendidly as a keyboard controller for most DAWs, but I'm using it live with an iPad App called B3X. It is the best Hammond B-3 simulation I've ever heard. The Graphite's 9 sliders have a drawbar mode which essentially reverses the direction (i.e; pulling down makes the response louder), and the learning/setup mode makes programming a breeze. Along with my Samson Carbon 61 I now have a dual manual portable rig that sounds like the real deal. The attached photo could be an advertisement for B&H: Both keyboards, the Apple Mini 5, and the Auray tablet holder came from here. What a store......... 5 |

[13.3 lb] I bought this controller to replace my LX mini which was ok for its sit and controlling features but a hassle to cover 3and 4 octaves . The 49 is great for controlling Studio One 6 pro i. It’s layers of control are well thought out and the footprint is 31.5 long so not bad. I like that I don’t have to press the octave button 3 or 4 times to use the full range of some of my Instrument Libraries. I am not a keyboard player and use this for writing and controlling software and it does that very well. The keyboard bed is better than the mini but still not on par with my Roland A500 Pro but like I said I don’t play keyboard well and the 49 is good enough for me and not bad. 5 |
