Nest Mini Microphones

[3.505 lb] Have only had the filter nest for about 3 weeks, and have only used once, but it seems very solid and made with the same materials than my previous mini filter nest. I do like internal unit that can be removed when you are bringing your filters in a backpack when you need to save space. Also, I like the strap in the casing that let you attach your filter case to your tripod to have them at hand to avoid reaching into your backpack every time. All in all, a well thought product.

[Handle] The filter nest mini fits perfectly in the narrow compartment along the side of my Mindshift Backlight 36 backpack. This allows me to have filters protected but also readily available when I open the pack and also contained if I want to remove the mini to have it in hand while shooting.

[Yes] Purchased the Nest Hub, along with additional Nest Mini's for the home. The Hub was a great addition to the kitchen. Setup was a breeze and now I can access my day, view who's at the front door and so much more! Thought the screen was going to be too small compared to the Nest Hub Max, but didn't see the added need for a camera. 10/10 purchase!

[Handle] The mini nest is well made, expands just enough to hold my filters and step-down rings safely. You do need to be cognizant that the accordion bottom is slightly open to the elements.

[0.035 lb] It's not exceptionally loud or produce overwhelmingly deep bass but it sounds like it should. What I mean by that is that the sound produced sounds good and isn't distracting. If you have the regular home/nest mini you'll notice that there's a lack of quality and bass but it gets plenty loud. The nest mini sounds very flat but this one not so - it sounds great but won't satisfy the audiophiles that are trying to reproduce a more nuanced sound. It just works and I gladly will use this for casual audio listening vs my home theater system for the voice capability.

[0.1 lb] My Canon camcorder is equipped with a mini shoe. I needed an adapter to allow me to use my microphones and other attachments. This one works perfectly and is easy to remove when not needed.
