[0.49 lb] AT2050 is a great multi-pattern microphone at better than half the price of other brands, Audio-Techinca has a winner with this condenser mic. We needed a microphone to add ambience to our recording and live streaming and this unit does the job excellently. We had previously used a condenser mic that was almost ten times the cost of this one and we can not tell the difference in the quality of the recording. We live stream all of our house concerts and archive them as well, we had people from all over the country call and tell us how great the audio quality was and that it was one of the best concerts they had ever listened to online. A++ on this one. Thanks B&H again!

[Black] Great, lightweight mic stand. I wouldn't hang a vintage Neumann 67 on it but for live use with a Shure SM58 or something similar its excellent. I've had one for several months, no issues, just bought 2 more. If you want to cut down on the weight that you schlep to gigs this is a great way to go.

[Black] This mic is awesome. I additionally have a Sennheiser MKH416 which has better noise rejection. This Neumann condenser has a preferred frequency response. As a result, this mic is very well suited to live processing with an Apollo x8p or Twin X. I also have a few other mics, but this one is amazing!

[Supercardioid] For when there is a little noise, I wanted a condenser with a hyper cardioid pattern. but those really cost. This is well past your SM58 or E835 at the high end, and the low is good at 6inches. The bright/not-harsh high end is incredible, and it is detailed like the RodeNT1 I usually use. I'm loving this thing.

[5/8" Receiver] Use this to hold up my Blue Condenser Microphone. It's impressive because the microphone is extremely heavy #sweepstakes

[Side Address] These live in my studio as drum overheads, exclusively. I had recently purchased the multi-pattern version but returned them when these came out a week later. At a fourth of the cost of Coles, these are the way to go if you on a budget or just getting started. Recording drums gets expensive quick!

[Screw-Knob] I have used this combination boom and stand in the studio for more years than I can remember. It's like a Neumann microphone...it's not a studio without one. Tuff, smooth and easy to use. Nothing bad to say about it.

[-10 dB] The NEUMANN U 87Ai is a studio microphone with outstanding performance and an attractive shape. NEUMANN microphones are the best. This company has almost 90 (ninety) years of experience in the manufacture of microphones. Truly amazing.

[Mono] This microphone is an absolute gem. The TLM 102 is the Neumann entry level microphone. It is a large diaphragm, side address mic, very small compared to its relatives. It is solidly built, but light enough to easily mount for a podcast mic, and never seems to get in the way of copy. It is my favorite mic for voiceover, as it gives a nice smooth tonality. I love the way it sounds without compression or sweetening. After micing guitar and violin, I can say it does a fine job with stringed instruments as well. For a Neumann, it is quite inexpensive; however, for a home studio, it is pricey. Is it worth the extra money? Although it was for me, there are other mic's with nearly as good performance in the $300 range. For voice work, I really like the Audio Technica AT-4033a, although it is larger and heavier. The Shure SM7b is great if you're looking for a smooth broadcast sound. I have also used and enjoyed the Sennheiser MD421, especially when I wanted a slightly brighter sound from a dynamic mic. These less expensive alternatives are worth considering if you want high quality sound, but don't want to spend several hundred dollars more. Having said that, I love this little Neumann, and don't regret for an instant having bought it.
