[82 mm] New to cinema lenses, but so far I'm very impressed with the quality of this lens. The lens itself is a bit on the heavy side to what I'm used to, but very satisfied with the images produced. Using it with BMPCC 4k.

[Canon EF] I'm using the adapter with my New Canon R6 and my old 24-105 and new Tamron 70-200. Everything communicates very well. I have had a few times where somehow the ring clicked out of place. That might have been my fault but when it clicks out, it stays on so you might think everything is fine. When you go to use it, nothing will happen. Don'y panick. Just check twho connections between the camera body and adapter AND the adapter and lens. Make sure it is all secure. Turn the camera back on and you should be good to go. I only bought this adapter because they were out on the Canon one but it does a great job. - Flicker Shack Photos

[14-Bit] Since the early 1980s I was a Canon person. I used a Canon New F1 as my primary wildlife camera(film) with a 400 mm Canon prime lens. As digital photography started to explode at the turn of the century (early2000s) I tried to keep up by investing in superZoom all-in -one cameras also Canons. I could not decide on a DSLR and put off purchasing one for almost 20 years. Finally this year I made the decision to purchase one and my next decision was to either buy the D500 or wait for an update to the Canon 7d Mark II . After reading all the review I went with the D500 and have never regretted the choice. It was difficult to switch from Canon to Nikon but so far I love my decision. This camera is a beast . It is super fast and the autofocus is almost instant. I am still learning but it hasnt taken me long to exploit its features. I know there are a few people out there who have had issues with it but I suspect that some of that may have been related to firmware which has been updated or they just dont understand the complexities of autofocus. I strongly recommend this camera.

[0.305 lb] Love my New R6 , but as You know the Canon Manual with camera just Does NOT explain / illustrate the product or How To Use as you would expect . Was Very Pleasantly Surprised by just how much Info this Pocket size Book actually encompasses . For the Price this is a Solid Investment for any R6 owner. It is High Quality Bond / Material , easy to read , Great Illustrations and EASY to Comprehend and to put into use . It is a TRUE pocket size guide , and will remain in my Camera Bag at all times ..

[8" / 20.3 cm] I have two of these - one for Canon body, one for Blackmagic Micro Cinema Camera. When the cameras are powered from a 98 WH IDX battery with D-taps, I can run the cameras literally all-day without worrying when the battery needs to be changed. So far everything works perfectly - no problems with fit, no problems with function. Nothing gets hot. Very happy with these adapters.

[16] As we acquire more advanced multimedia storytelling skills, using the camera has to become almost second nature to us. The real emphasis evolves from which camera and lens to use into always being ready to capture the story as it unfolds with interviews and supporting that story with plenty of supporting B roll media and stills.  The alternative is simply missing the action or out of focus stuff while fiddling with a cinema camera. For solo shooters or a very small crew, the new Canon XF705 will do a fantastic job for most all projects. Its ease of use, solid feel, shallow DOF and low light capabilities, ability to shoot 4k on fast inexpensive SDXC cards offers a very different workflow to using a Cinema camera and heavy rail system much less trying to keep those Cinema lenses in focus.  As of today, the Canon utility for the brand new camera allows you to view the 4k media on either a PC or Mac, but neither FCP X, nor Adobe are able to ingest that media. That will be coming soon they tell me. Well worth the money!

[Yes] I use this as an adapter for my Blackmagic Cinema Pocket Camera which allows me to use my Canon mount Rokinon Cine Lenses. Since the lenses are fully manual, I can manage the aperture and focus with no electronics. For me it is a perfect solution for using these lenses.

[1.4 lb] Fixes the mess of threads Canon decided would be acceptable configuration for a cinema camera. The side NATO rail is perfect for adding your choice of side handle and makes the C70 even more comfortable for handheld use. Best of all it's well made and reasonably priced.
