[Multi Coated | ] The Hoya is a nice addition to my new glass 50mm 1.8 Nikkor. No change in portrait photos and haven't done to many landscape photos to say if I notice any change. It's a strong filter that will protect your costly lens. I just leave mine on 24/7.

[Leica L] I have the Nikkor lens 24-70- 2.8 and 70-200 2.8 Sold my 50mm 1.8s for this lens and LOVE IT! This is not an easy lens! That is my love affair with this lens. When you massage the focus to the exact point you will be astounded with the results. I have also bought the 90mm 1.25 Artisan and that is great too. Again no comparison to Nikon but with some sharpening and contrast you acquire fantastic images with out of the park bokeh!

[f/1.8] This Nikkor Z 50mm 1.8 S lens is SO good and so fast - especially with the Z5's in body image stabilization, that (if you appreciate prime lenses vs zooms) you cannot just say, I'll live without it. The term normal understates what the angle of view and lack of magnification or distortion means. The angle of view is normal because it's basically what the human eye sees, unlike a wide or tele. Yes, it has a much more complicated, interesting and variable history as 'the' normal lens on a 35mm frame - but whatever. This one is killer fantastic and can be used for anything from street photography to even certain kinds of portraiture. Buy it and keep it and see how it varies from, say, my other lens - the 20mm. But are outstanding and a lifelong investment worth every penny.

[Canon RF] I bought several 7 Artisan lenses - this fits the Lumix G95 far better than the 50mm F.095 for infinity / distance shooting. It is remarkably good glass, solid build and light weight. It is certainly sharp at slightly before F2 and onward. I have found it to be a very useful bit of Kit. The two photos show full frame and then a crop of the Moon - at F 8 - 10. It also has very good color rendition. At the price point it is an incredible buy.

[43 mm (Front)] I use this on a GH5 and I'm impressed. Sharpness at f.95 looks very good, especially center of frame. I was using the Canon 1.8 STM 50mm with a Viltrox EF-M2 lens adapter, which allowed me to stop down to f1.3, but the image I was getting was fairly soft. Bought this to replace it, albeit a bit wider than the 50mm (1.6x crop w/ Viltrox) but the image looks much sharper. Was also impressed with the build quality. It's a compact lens but it has some weight to it. Feels very sturdy and aperture and focus rings turn smoothly with clickless aperture. All and all, I would definitely recommend for someone that may be a little skeptical because of the price. Oh yeah, the little case it ships in is a nice touch, too.

[58 mm (Front)] Youd think for the price this would have some flaws. At f.1/4 its pretty sharp at f.2 its razor sharp. I did not look at the outer edges of the frames as Im concerned with my subject. Good buy for the price.

[0.465 lb] A perfect companion for use with the Nikkor Z 70-200mm f/2.8 S or Z 20mm f/1.8 S (and others, but these I own). There is no discernable vignetting on the 70-200mm. Maybe just a touch on the 20mm, but it is really difficult to tell if so. I find this Nikon CPF to be slightly darker than some of its competitors, but that makes a good complement under certain situations.

[0.725 lb] With Nikon Z7 + Nikkor Z 35mm 1.8S - OK) With Nikon Z7 + Nikkor Z 24-70mm 2.8S - micro-backlash appears along the axis of rotation, within reasonable limits, caused by a heavy lens. Barely noticeable in my work does not bother me. if you need a reinforced concrete handle, look towards the non-rotating. I didn't really like the grinded aluminum edge in the place where the rubber fits.

[0.255 lb] A perfect companion for use with the Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S, Z 85m f/1.2 S, or Z 135mm f/1.8 S Plena lenses (and others, but these I own). There is no discernable vignetting when in use on any of the above. I find this Nikon CPF to be slightly darker than some of its competitors, but that makes a good complement under certain situations.

[Aluminum] I use this with my Cokin Z-Pro frame and adapts easily to the 67mm Nikkor 28mm and 85mm f/1.8 lenses. Quality made and durable.
