[77 mm (Front)] Nikon's Nikkor Z 20mm f/1.8 S Lens will be my go to lens in astro photography; waiting for a moonless night to give this lens a chance to show what it is capable of in the astro photography world. Love the lens for its potential in landscape work. The 20mm f/1.8 S lens does an exceptional job in photographing the interior of the home. As always, thanks to B&H for providing great products and service.

[f/2.8] Currently I'm using a 3 lens set up. Sold all my zooms except the Nikon 75-150mm F3.5 (A Jewel Lens). This 20mm lens, the Voigtlander 40mm F2 Ultron (Magnificent Lens) and the Nikkor 85mm F1.8 AF-D are all I need for the magazines I shoot for. The Voigt and the 20mm are lenses made to last! I've been shooting Nikkors since the late 60's. The pics that this lens produces allows you to suck the viewer into the picture. They have no choice. They just get sucked in. That's what I like about this focal length. End of story!

[f/1.8] This is my first Rokinon lens for a Nikon camera. I have two Rokinon lenses for my Sony cameras and I am very pleased with them. I purchased the Rokinon 20mm for interiors. I wanted a wide angle lens on my full frame Nikon D800 and decided after much thought about what I wanted a lens to produce to go with 20mm. I had a 24mm – 85mm Nikkor and like it very much, but I wanted a lens to give a wider field of view for interiors but not so wide to exaggerate (or distort) the scene. I am very pleased with the lens quality and the images it produces. In the same scene, I compared images taken with it to the Nikkor 24-85 and also to my Canon lenses and found the Rokinon to be sharp and to have little to no distortion, just like the other lenses. For interiors I like the manual focus and a prime lens. I can set focus to where I want it and the focus remains set correctly throughout the house I am shooting except for small rooms, where I refocus. I blend my images so having a prime lens that stays put is preferred because any movement in focal length just causes extra work in post. For the Nikon mount, I like that I can set the aperture ring to f/22 and then adjust the aperture with my camera; this is a nice feature. In short and in my opinion, the Nikkor 24-85mm lens does not outperform the Rokinon lens and neither does my wide angle Canon lens. For an affordable price, the Rokinon 20mm lens gives me images that are deliverable and that is what counts. With 40 years of experience in photography I can say I am so far very well pleased with the Rokinon lenses I own.

[77 mm (Front)] The Nikon Z 20mm F1.8 lens is a lens that will always be in my camera bag. It has incredible sharpness with no distortion across the field of view. I highly recommend this Nikon glass for anyone needing this focal length for landscape or astrophotography work.

[0.09 lb] Fits Nikon HN-9 lens hood on NIKKOR UD 20mm F3.5 & NIKKOR 28mm F3.5 PC lenses. 72mm cap that fits over lens doesn't hold inside the hood. With this cap I can leave hood on always.

[APS-C] I bought this lens for my Z50 Nikon , I own the Viltrox 20mm 2.8 lens for my Nikon Z5, I was impressed by the results and by the solid construction of this lens . This is why I bought the Viltrox 56 mm 1.7 for portraits and as short telephoto. This is a good quality lens , optically, build and cosmetically. Mechanically the 56 mm acuratally works well with the Z camera. This lens is nice and light , AF IS FAST AND ACCURATE, also very easily focuses manually !

[Autofocus] I bought the Nikon 20mm 1.8 lens about a year months ago for my Z7II. I now use it on my Z8 and love it. It is sharp and can be used for architecture and landscapes. I also use it for photographing a group of people. Great glass! I would not buy from any other place then B&H. It looks bulky, but it's light enough to carry for street photos.
