[f/22 to 40] I was looking for a lens that replaced the 18-55 and 70-200 that came with my Nikon D5000 and avoid constant lens switching. This lens fits the bill with an even wider range. I used it for general photography from travel to sports.

[72 mm (Front)] Very happy with it. Considerably sharper than an entry-level Nikon 55-200

[Gray] Holds all I need: Nikon 7500. Lenses: Nikon 18-55, Nikon 70-200, Sigma 150-600, Sigma 1.4 TC, flash, macro lenses, Benro gimbal, tripod, manuals, plus various small items. Very satisfied with the construction, options for carrying, and look.

[0.905 lb] I trust my Nikon Z system to this ball head. I think is very convenient how clicky the friction adjustment is, really helps when you don't want to take your eyes from the composition. You can secure a 70-200 lens and camera with just the friction knob. I compared it to the Really Right Stuff BH-55 and I preferred this one because is the main knob is a lot easier to operate due to its grippy nature. It is slightly taller than the BH-55, just a fact. Had no trouble holding my 70-200 with square filters. I recommend it.

[Multi Coated] I was looking for an inexpensive warming filter for my 55-200 and 18-55 on my Nikon D40. This is my go everywhere camera. This filter fits the need just fine!!!

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] I purchased a Nikon D850, Nikon 24-70 f2.8, Nikon 70-200 f2.8, and a Nikon 200-500 f5.6 from B&H over the past year. These were all upgrades from previous camera equipment. I tried various tripod heads and was not satisfied with the stability and precision; especially with the 200-500 set up. The BH-55 head has met all my expectations. A rock solid product. The B&H service was impeccable per usual. Highly recommend the RRS BH-55 for anyone with large camera equipment.

[3.5 oz / 100 g] Can't go wrong with this lens case. Great product and a great price. My Nikon 200-500 fits in like it was made for this lens.

[7, Rounded] I debated between the Fuji 55-200 and this 50-230 specifically for travel purposes and opted for this lens for its size and weight. As reviewed by many others, its IQ is surprisingly good. It doesn't even have a screw-on back cap (it's just a white, plastic, friction-held cap), but the lens holds up as a wonderful travel option if you're careful not to abuse it.

[0.045 lb] Like many here, I found this lens to be one of the two choices: 55-200 f/3.5-4.8 or 50-140 f/2.8. Due to life circumstances and family responsibilities, I opted for the more affordable 55-200. It's a little less than half the price and is a 300mm equivalent: on paper, more lens for less money. So what's the catch? This lens simply doesn't have the fit and finish of 50-140; it doesn't have as fast an aperture; it doesn't have a fixed, maximum aperture. The zoom extends out of barrel and is a fairly ungainly design. It has a metal barrel, but portions of the lens are plastic. On the plus side, which for this lens is considerable, it is very sharptack sharp. It is very small and lightweight. And the lens has an impressive optical image stabilizer. It's a pleasure to shoot with. The AF is not as fast as it on some lenses, but it is fast enough. And although it is not as fast as the 50-140, it is faster than competing lenses of similar range from other manufacturers. Having owned a Canon 75-300, I can say with certainty that this lens is significantly sharper. I planned to return this lens if I didn't like it in favor of its more expensive cousin, but I'm so impressed with its size, weight, and image quality, that I decided to keep it. If you need the convenience of a zoom, if you'd like the reach of a 300mm lens, if most of your shooting is outdoors in the daylight, and if you like scary sharp pictures, then I would recommend this lens without hesitation.
