[0.05 lb] I bought this for use on my 80-200 f/2.8 AF lens (the push pull) and it fits perfectly. A friend has the Nikon version of this hood and while the outer finish matches the lens better, the Vello hood feels like its made of the same material. I would recommend is over the Nikon any day. Less expensive and it does the job.

[Yes] Bought mainly as an add-on for my Manfrotto Super Clamp. Can hold DSLR with 80-200 2.8 no problem. Compared to larger heads from Manfrotto this is half the price, and as a secondary it's great.

[0.5 lb] This work great on my Nikon 200-500 and my 80-400. It will work on a Tamron 150-600. The room this hood lets me have in my bag by leaving other lens hoods at home is big. fast and easy to put it on the lens. when I am done just take it off fold it up and slid it in a side pocket.
