Nikon Camera Comparison

[77 mm (Front)] this is a great lens. Build is very solid. The lens is heavy only in comparison to the native FE lenses (it's equal to the Nikon 85.) I personally like it more than he Canon 85mm 1.2. The only downside is that on the lower apertures the bokeh looks more ghosted than the Canon and Nikon up till F2. As someone else noted the Mitakon lens hoods are terrible and cheap. But the lens itself is the opposite.

[5.8 x 4 x 1.7"] Nikon's foot was waayyy too small for comfort, and the lockup is just not tight enough. This foot is MASSIVE in comparison, and the arca dovetails are wonderful. It has the travel stop screws already installed and locks right onto to the lens. Makes a wonderful carry handle as well as a perfect tripod food. Nikon needs to take a page from RRS's playbook.

I bought this camera has an upgrade to the Mark II. There is no comparison between the two cameras! Mark 7 is amazing!

[0.03 lb] I know these tubes have no comparison to the original Telefunken tubes. I still really like them.

[0.325 lb] I've never owned another Leica camera case so I have no comparison. But I like this case very much. It offers the protection that I need. Now I don't worry dings and scratches.

[Latch] Anything rates better or worse upon comparison. We are all used to padded dividers be it in camera bags, slingshots, backpacks etc., so even for a case like the Nanuk (which is superb) padded dividers are far better than foam. Also, once you use the foam insert, the compartments cannot be changed, unlike the padded divider that you can and will alter to your needs. So whenever buying a case (such as the NANUK 935, which is absolutely gorgeous) opt on the one with padded divider. Excellent quality, BTW.

[LCD] Admittedly, I have no comparison as this is my first LED camera light. I have tried it out recently. The batteries holding the charge long, the lamp itself is very bright and has a good range of dimming options; same great impression with the warmth of the color, really nice. A little bit heavy, but solid and I hope it will last and do its job.

[67 mm] I use this for B&W photography and it works as advertised. I haven't used any other yellow filters on this particular camera (so I cannot make a comparison between brands), but this is a great value.

[1.67 lb] With this being my first mic stand bag, I don't have much of a frame of reference for comparison. However, when you consider the price of most camera gear, this is one small investment to protect your mic stands. Especially if you're the type of person who is on the go or constantly between events/venues, this mic stand bag will surely give you a much greater peace of mind that your mic stand is well protected and will arrive to the event or venue in sound, working order. The material seems to be fairly robust and while this bag is not all that padded, this is a big step up when compared to having a loose mic stand rolling around in the back of your vehicle.

[0.1 lb] No comparison. Perfect for my C9.25 SCT.
