[35mm] Its a nice film to throw into a point and shoot.

[8] I shoot film for two reasons: 1. Film lets me shoot with old cameras. (My favorites right now are the Nikon F2 and Nikon S2. I also shoot a Nikon FE which I like very much.) Older cameras don't necessarily take "better" pictures, but I think I take better pictures with them. I have to slow down and be more deliberate. This doesn't mean I can't shoot something that is happening at high-tempo, but I just have to plan better. 2. Film renders images differently than one of my digital cameras. Colors, contrasts, dynamic range -- all different. Not necessarily "better," but different. Better is a matter of opinion based on whatever criteria you establish. Sometimes "better" is not technically superior; it just looks really nice. So, this review is following my first roll of Lomo100. I was shooting my F2 with a 50mm f/2. Lomo100 has a nice clean look about it. Contrast is pretty good in strong outdoor light where you'll probably be using 100 speed film anyway. Colors are not super-saturated, but nice. It renders color somewhere between Portra and Ektar. It's a tad bit grainy for a 100 speed film -- but see note 2 above -- NBD. It's inexpensive and fun to shoot. Although I shoot more expensive films on occasion, I have a hard time justifying it in a 35mm camera when you can have a great time with stuff like this, Fuji C200, and Agfa 200 (if you can still find some).

[Half Frame] Great point and shoot camera, uses half the film. Amazing entry point to half frame photography.

[0.6 lb] This is more of an special application film, rather than a point and shoot everyday film...for that you may use a FP5 or even a tmax, but I use these for lanscapes in Paragonia, where there is usually low contrast, and exposure times of a few seconds are't a problem. I love it, and with a good paper base like Gallerie, you'll always get fantastic results.

[Yes] This is a pretty cool camera. Priced right. Not for professional use, but given to a niece for a film point and shoot.

[1.05 lb] I wanted to dip my toe into the water of film photography. I'm having a tone of fun with this little point & shoot camera. Can't wait to develop the photographs.

[f/8 or f/11] It’s obviously not going to have the perfect sharpness, clarity, or anything like that from an slr or expensive point and shoot. It’s great to just “holga around with”. I highly recommend for anybody who wants to see what it’s like to use film without dumping hundreds of dollars into it. Take the experience with a grain of salt though. The lens is plastic... so you’ll have a different experience with a different film camera.

[Half Frame] This was my first experience with a film camera, and this was a great way to start. I’ve been using it for about a month now, and it’s got an easy point and shoot style. Certain types of shots work better than others, but it really depends on the specific circumstances, the film, etc. You just have to experiment and have fun to find what works, which really is the entire point of getting a camera like this in my opinion.

[400] I've used this in a cheap old point and shoot, and with my Nikon F100 + Nikon 58/1.4G and it looks amazing! Order it and enjoy classic B&W images!

[7.4 VDC] Took a chance on this battery as a backup to our Nikon Coolpix point and shoot underwater camera as there were no previous reviews on it. It seems to hold a charge for a decent amount of time and works perfectly well.
