[0.09 lb] Sometimes I'm going to leave a lens or two behind when going out on a shoot. The Nikon Soft Lens Case provides ample protection when I leave a lens sitting on the shelf, and added bit when carried in my case or backback.

[Empty] Good quality. Works well with the Kinesis Nikon 200-500 lens case.

[0.005 lb] I'm usually going to go with the name brand...batteries, etc. But in this case, how much is the Nikon name worth to protect an open lens or camera? These Sensei body and lens caps are just perfect protection for your expensive cameras and lenses! Why pay more?

[0.3 lb] Nikon supplies a very good case and lens cover. The travel coat is very well made and appears to be durable but again it is probably not required for my use with the Nikon furnished case and lens cover.

[0.09 lb] I was purchasing other cases that were microfiber, but started purchasing these Nikon cases because they offer more protection for my equipment. For instance, I got a similar Nikon case for my 16-35 f/4G lens. it was in my backpack and flew out when I swung the backpack over my shoulder to put it on. The lens landed about 8 feet behind me and was not damaged in any way. I saw it land on the padded bottom of the case, which I think saved it from damage. Had the lens been in just a microfiber case, it would have been a costly repair. I got 2 of these cases for my Nikon 1.4x and 1.7x teleconverters.

[20 to 60%] I love my Nikon hard case for the 500mm F4E. I purchased the Nikon CL-L2 soft case to make things a little more flexible and it works. When I need to just go, the lens is much easier to grab. When I'm not sure what I'll be capturing, I can carry the lens with me and mono pod allowing me to bring an extra lens for a different window on life. I feel safe with the lens in the case and my 500mm fits perfectly, shade and all. The construction is fabulous.

[0.84 lb] This is a great bag for its purpose. I use it to transport my Nikon Z9 and the Nikon Z 800mm PF lens. There is an extra (removable) piece of padding at the bottom of the bag. With that out, my lens, with the camera attached, will fit with the lens hood in the ready-to-go position. Opening the bag and getting the camera out is fairly quick. On occasion, I've attached a lens (in a lens case) to the side of the bag in case I needed a normal lens. Typically my Z 24-120. The bag is comfortable to wear. I haven't walked miles in it (yet) at one time, but for the short distances, it was fine. It has a decent amount of storage for small items. I'm 6' and have the adjustment set in the top position. It might be a tad short, as the waist belt is just above my waist in the back. Didn't seem to be a problem though. I also like the way this bag looks. My subjective opinion. Overall, I highly recommend this bag. It holds what I need and does so with comfort.

[Yes] I bought this case to be able to take my Nikon d800 and lens with me on my atv trips and rides. I've only had the case for two weeks but it has survived 2 100 mile trips and protected my gear from dust water and rocks! I would highly suggest it if you plan on taking your $$$ camera gear anywhere you can't carry it

[f/1.4] I wanted a wide angle lens mostly for a small architectural project I'd like to pursue (that was all the excuse I needed to buy!). This is on a D810. The physical lens quality seems to be solid. I'm used to fully sealed lenses so I will need to retrain myself when shooting in a wet environment. No problems so far, though. The focus is definitely slower than what I'm used to but I'm not sure the use case for a fast focus wide angle zoom lens is a wide one. Perfect for tripod-mounted wide angle shots of buildings, landscapes, etc. Shooting people handheld just requires a bit more verbal direction and consideration for the slower focus. I'd not worked with a lens whose focus is switched between manual and auto by pulling or pushing the lens barrel. That confused me for about 30 seconds when I knocked it into manual on accident. Just an fyi! The fact that this lens is nearly 1/3 the cost of the equivalent Nikon model made this a no brainer for me. For my limited use case and special project, it would have been silly to go the Nikon route. While I've not played a ton with it yet, I am noticing that it's not as sharp as some of my Nikon lenses. But, the photos it produces for me are still amazing! Overall, I'm thrilled with the purchase and would do it again! Seriously great value for the price.

[Camouflage] Installs easily and protects against damage when one does not have space for the boxcar-sized Nikon case. Also handy keeping dust and grit from lens in blind situations when changing to smaller lens.
