[Top handle] I have used this lens on the Nikon D850, D810 and Z7ii. It has the legendary Zeiss build quality and can produce very sharp images with beautiful color and contrast. The brokeh is nice in a way that only Zeiss can render, and the manual focus ring is precise in a way my Nikon lenses are not. This lens is also small and light for a Zeiss prime. Good for semi-wide landscape, portrait, and studio work. While this lens is not as sharp as the new Zeiss 35mm f/1.4 prime, it is still able to produce good micro detail with the classic Zeiss 3D look. The sweet spot is f/10, for highly detailed Landscapes and Close In. My Zeiss 25mm f/2 is an excellent lens and this 35mm is just as good, I think. I would highly recommend this if you do not want to shell out twice as much cash for the f/1.4, but need the 35mm FOV and the Zeiss look in an F-Mount.

[0.92 lb] I've only used the Fotodiox Sony e to Nikon Z briefly one day with the Sony 35mm f/1.4 GM . It has tracked my subject in 3-d tracking perfectly. It picked up the face and both eyes tracking as the subject walked around. I will be testing it much more in the next few weeks on my Z9 with many different lenses of Sony e mount. If things change I'll redo my review.

[72 mm (Front)] I have a few other Nikon lenses, including the 35mm f/1.4G, which I love. I love the colors and the high contrast it gives. Also super sharp. Probably not a fair comparison, but definitely one level higher than the 35mm f/1.4. Don't take me wrong, both are really good lenses. It's just this that one pushes it further! I recommend it without hesitation.

[77 mm (Front)] If you don't mind everything that is manual on this lens, GET IT!! It is the best 35mm F/1.4 lens out there! It's beats both the Canon and Nikon in terms of sharpness. You get more than what you pay for!! ;)

[Pentax K] With this adapter I was able to reuse old olympus lenses such as Zuiko 35mm,50mm f/1.4,135mm f/2.8, Tamron 80-210mm f/3.8 and 500mm SP f/8 with my Nikon D7000. I was amazed with the results. Best buy for the money.

[Aluminum] I bought this to mount a Voigtlander Nokton Classic 35mm f/1.4 to my Fuji X Pro2. Given the number of lens adapters out there I took chance and picked this one for the low price. It has worked out just fine, the Voigtlander focuses tack sharp on it with no flares or artifacts. For the price this was definitely the right choice.

[Magnalium] I use it on EF 1.4L 35mm, is clear and works great on the mild wide angle. I use primarily to protect the front element of the lens. Does the trick.

[Leica M] I was looking for a compact 35mm to go with my M camera. I was originally considering 35/1.4 for the budget but did a bit of research since this is a new release and decided with this. No regrets... it is pin sharp and the bokeh is smooth and beautiful.
