[Nikon Z] Have old Minolta lenses and currently use Nikon digital camera. The adapter allows me to use my old minolta lenses on my newer Nikon camera. Just working through the peculiarities of using old manual lenses on a fully modern camera. Results so far have been OK but I assume will improve once I get accustomed to the adapter and minolta lense differences. Ordering through BH Photo on line was quick and easy and fair price.

[Nikon Z] This has given a second-life to my old Minolta lenses.

[Sony E (APS-C)] I use Minolta based manual lenses and the quality is evident in the fit to the camera and to all Minolta based lenses I own.

[Minolta MD] I have been using a Panasonic Camera the FZ-80 and pretty pleased with the results. However, I wanted to move up to a full-frame digital camera. The Sony A7 ii is just above $1,000 and Consumer Reports gave it a great rating. Didn't want to deal with the cost of buying a bunch of new lenses though. So I remembered that I had a ton of lenses that worked on my old reliable Minolta X-700 film camera. With the help of the B&H representative, I ordered this adapter and it snapped right onto my Minolta lenses tightly. Then went to a local camera shop and they let me connect it to a working Sony A7 ii body. They showed me how to use the Sony focus peaking feature with the lens. Yes, it works, yes! Got old Minolta lenses of value? Then get this adapter! With the Sony A7 iii coming out, I will buy the Sony A7 ii, when the price drops soon.

[0.31 lb] Being a long time user of Minolta products, my favorite still is the Minolta XD 11 Camera with all of it's lenses. Now having a Alpha 3000 Sony Camera I wanted to use my old lenses. The adapter really works well. The availability of using the tri-pod attachment is great.

[0.33 lb] The adapter works really well with my older Minolta lenses. It attached to the camera body easily and my lenses are easy to attach and remove.

[Metal] This adapter has given me new capabilities with my Minolta lenses. I shoot into a mirror more easily without, while keeping the camera out of the footage. I'm able to shoot what looks like something from a higher perspective, while still on the ground without a boom. It isn't a replacement for a job or boom, but it is easier to carry around a small adapter than larger gear. It simply offers solutions to some creative problems in the field. Get one for yourself and experiment!

[Universal] Have been searching for a compact bag to house my Sony a900 camera with Minolta 24-105 lens attached plus Minolta 100-300, Sony 20, and Sony 50 macro lenses and, of course, all the other stuff - filters, cleaning kit, batteries, cards, etc. Liked the idea of Domke canvas bags that fit close to the hip, but wanted a bit more equipment padding and more pocket space. Also purchased Domke FA-220 2-compartment insert and FA211 1-compartment (large) insert to replace the two flat inserts that came with the J-3. The FA-220 and FA211 fit perfectly in the bag and by stacking the above-mentioned lenses in the FA220 and putting the a700 with 24-104 attached lens in the FA-211, I can easily carry all I need in camera equipment. With a little re-arranging, I could carry my Sony 28 and Minolta 50 f1.7 lenses as well. Plenty of pocket space for all the other stuff with room left over. I can easily pull the camera out of the FA211 insert by its grip so a neck strap is not necessary and I don't have the weight of the camera/lens on my neck between photo ops. One of the two flat inserts that came with the J-3 now pads the outside wall of the front outside pocket and the other provides extra padding between the the FA-220/FA-211 inserts and the back wall of the bag. Also cut a piece of closed-cell foam to fit in the outside rear pocket (which I don't have another use for as yet) to make the bag even more comfortable on my hip. On the advice of other purchasers, I ordered the Domke FA-031 USPO Shoulder Pad when I ordered the J-3. Easily adjusted, once attached to the bag strap, and more than enough padding. Makes a photo outing more of a pleasure than a chore.Very pleased with bag and shoulder pad and appreciate free shipping as well.

[0.023 lb] I use these on lenses that use this size cap, such as older Minolta and Nikon.
