Olympus 2.0 12Mm

[67.6°] I picked the Samyang 12mm F/2.0 for my Fujifilm XT-20. I can't speak to other copies of this lens but the one I received is sharp as a tack at F/2.0. It's a great lens. Minor negative: The focus ring is rather stiff. I'm guessing it'll break in over time. Overall, this is not a major issue. In some ways it's a plus. For instance, set this lens for a particular focus distance and it stays put.

[62 mm] This is a great cap for Olympus lenses that use 46mm filters, like the 12mm f/2 and 17mm f/1.8. They fit perfectly, and come off without searching for the pinch tabs. The loop at the edge lets you tether it with a simple lanyard that looks better than the stick-on type, too.

I'm an Olympus shooter, having a wide range of both AF and vintage MF prime and zoom glass for my pair of PenF bodies. But, I've always felt that exclusion of a 28mm equivalent to be a sad omission in the Olympus range. So, finally, I grabbed the LUMIX 14mm/2,5 to fill in the gap, and have been thrilled with the results. Sometimes, the 17mm/1,8 is just a bit too tight, and the wonderful 12mm/2,0 is just a bit too wide. This lens is sharp and contrasty, focuses fast, and provides just the right field of view for many applications. It has become the first lens I grab when going out to shoot the urban and social landscape, offering a unique view of the world that is engaging and intimate without the distortions of the wider 12mm. It's small, pancake form factor makes it a joy to carry, turning the diminutive PenF into an almost pocket camera. While not a bokeh monster, the OOF areas are rendered beautifully when wide open, and the wide DOF when stopped down is just fantastic. For anyone seeking something just a little different from the pack, this lens is highly recommended. Sure, it could be a little faster, but then it would also be bigger, and more expensive, and is that half-stop really important, or even useful on a wide-angle lens? At such a low price, this is one of the best bargains in the M43 world.

[128 GB] Works good on 2.0 usb.

[Canon EF] good to have in situations where the 2.0 is just a little too much. Easy to switch them out.

[FUJIFILM X] I can't say anything bad about this adapter. I can use now my 12mm Rokinon X-mount on my Z50 and it works flawlessly.

[APS-C] Well-corrected and small lens with 12mm (35mm) field of view.

[128 GB] USB 2.0, so it's a little slow. Otherwise pretty good.

[0.185 lb] I get that 12mm rods save space and reduce weight...albeit ever so slightly. However, it can necessitate the need for yet another adapter of some kind to fit all the other 15mm rod gear we may have. For myself, I would MUCH rather have all my rods 15mm, but DJI knows better and thus the need for this set up rod for my DJI RS 2 gimbal.
