Olympus C 3020 Zoom Digital Camera

[3 MP] I received a free ZOOM Digital Monocular in exchange for a review. I was very impressed with the quality. It's easy to use, light and compact. It has a nice sleek feel to it and easily fits in your pocket so you can take it anywhere you go. I really like the zoom feature. It's a button you push and it has 3 different zoom depths. When you press the button it automatically zooms in and you don't have to wait, it's super cool. I love that it takes videos and pictures. It also comes with an SD card so you can download all your videos and pictures onto your computer. I would highly recommend this product to anyone in the market for a video camera/camera.

[Olympus LI-50B] The LI-50B Olympus battery is a great addition to my Olympus Digital camera. It gives me plenty of Back-up power for longer than normal photo sessions.

[1] I am just ecstatic with this product!! 6 months ago, when my job switched me to full time telecommuting, it was clear that I was going o have VERY important meetings vie zoom, Skype and teams. I could NOT use my cell phone or the whack webcam built into my iMac. I needed to figure out how to use my Olympus EM10 MIII mirrorless camera as a webcam so that I could stream with clear video for longer than an hour.   My camera does NOT have a ac jack for power and the batteries last for 1 hour, tops. Even after I jumped through a million hoops and figured out how to use a capture card to connect my camera to my CPU as a webcam, in every meeting, my camera would die and I would replace it mid-meeting. I kept 3 fully charged batteries on standby at all times. That SUCKED! With this, I no longer worry about my battery running out. It works perfectly!! I mean, PERFECTLY!! If you are using your Olympus camera as a webcam and you need a steady power supply, this works. I'm so glad it was released right before my first zoom deposition.

[LED (3 W)] The Olympus camera is a great camera with a great zoom to get those beautiful beach photos. Just took it to Punta Cana and the photos are amazing. You can edit the photos you take right on the camera. This is definitely a great camera for the price!

[LED (3 W)] It's taking some time to get used to this camera but the more I use it and educate myself on the settings which work for me the better results I'm getting. I've been a long time user of another brand of cameras and I wanted a zoom to take on a trip in a few weeks. I did get the zoom from the other brand and took photos as a test. It failed and exhibited too much chromatic aberration to consider keeping. I got the Olympus SP-800UZ with a similar zoom and went back to the same spots and took the same photos and inspected them. The results were much better. It's keeper. I like the zoom and I'm playing with the various settings on the camera which are fun. I use Magic and then the Pop setting. It knocks the color out of the park. The auto panorama is really cool. I take the first photo and then line up the dot and the camera fires automatically for two more shots and puts them together in the camera. I never liked panoramas because they were too much trouble to do in graphic programs. The camera is not a DSLR and the results probably can't compete but the photos are excellent and the color is too. It is interesting to me that when the shots are enlarged to the extreme in iPhoto the results look more like film than what I'm used to seeing with the other brand. I've been busy taking photos and so far I'm very pleased with what I'm getting from this Olympus.

[Zipper] If you have a compact digital camera preferably with a zoom or even a light interchangeable lens one to which you can attach an extension tube between the body and lens (or use a screw in diopter CU lens). You'll have to experiment a little, and watch the (conservative) attachment weight limit. The 2 position arm allows it to adjust for different distances. It even accommodates cell phone with included accessory.

[LED] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Canon Zoom Digital Monocular is so much better than expected. First, I love the small size of the camera. You can slip it into your pocket and take it anywhere. It is so lovely being able to take pictures of just about anything. Do you see something you like far away? It is not a problem with this camera. It has such an incredible zoom capability. You can take close-up pictures of sports games and nature or use it as an everyday traveling camera. It also takes video. I appreciate the Bluetooth connection to your phone. It makes image transfer so easy. With the invention of cameras on smartphones, I never thought I would want to carry a camera again, but now that I have this camera, I have completely changed my mind. My phone’s camera does not even compare to this one. It is in a whole other league.

[4 MP] I’ve ordered two of these cameras and wouldn’t hesitate to order another. The pan and digital zoom features help to keep me in the center and not too close to the camera, even if my camera is mounted closer due to desk space and monitor location.

[Carabiner] I've used analog SLRs for years and transitioned to digital point and shoot cameras about 8 years ago. I've steadily upgraded and finally after much research settled on what I now consider to be the best technology short of a digital SLR. I will use this for not only family pictures, but also on the cruises that my wife and I take periodically. In particular I'm looking forward to pictures from our upcoming Alaska inland passage cruise in early September. The 20X zoom with an effecitve 28 to 560 mm range is fantastic and at long focal lengths the image stabilization does a great job. I like the fact that you can record HD movies, but wish the HD cable was standard rather than what appears to be proprietary. Otherwise, I am thoroughly pleased with this camera. While it has high tech features that will take me months to master, the ease of taking pictures right out of the box and the quality of the results with virtually no learning curve is a real plus. Would definitely recommend this camera to anyone looking for a longer zoom point and shoot that will provide consistenly high quality pictures.
