[0.065 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a review for the One for All - One For All 14426 Indoor Bar Antenna with Signal Level Indicator. This unit is very fashionable and looks nice in my family room. The signal level indicator was so helpful making sure it was in the best location. The system came with directions, velcro dots to help hold it in place and the USB AC adapter. Another nice thing was not having to have it pointing in a specific direction thanks to 360 degree multidirectional reception. I was able to pick up so many shows that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to see.

[Metal] I switched out my sennheiser omni directional paddles for the single RF VENUE Finn, and it was an immediate change! Totally clean and dropless connection for all 8 sennheiser wireless mics. We simply plugged in the RF Venue Finn to our Sennheiser wireless antenna combiner, and everything was better. I have always had issues with wireless, and I believe this Finn will change everything for our church. Joey

[Plug-In Power] I bought this to replace the omni-directional mic that really caught too much room and ambient noise. It works great...cant believe the difference it made in my sound quality both indoors and out.

[> 44 dB] Used this lav for the first time over the weekend in a noisy garage setting at a technical college. I purchased this specifically to cut down the echo problems in similar locations. Since this is a cardiod mike rather than an omni-directional mike that comes standard with the Sony UWP transmitters, it has a narrower pickup pattern than omni-directional mikes, so I was careful with placement on the on-camera talent. I double-miked the talent with a backup Lectrosonics tram mike to compare the response and noise . The Lectrosonics is a much older unit with an omni-directional tram mike so I expected more background room noise and echo. It also had less voice presence and more response in the lower frequencies than what I want with VO or talking heads. The ECM-X7BMP Electret Condenser lav had a more crisp presence in the upper voice frequencies which I prefer, so I'll purchase another and limit my use of the Lectrosonics in noisy environments. The pickup head is twice the diameter of the omni lav, so with the windscreen its more noticeable. I like the screw-in connection to the transmitter.

Not just one of the best headset mics I've used, one of the best mics period. It isn't omni-directional so feedback is almost non-existent. I have had children's pastors use it as a mic for singing and speaking. This thing is one of the clearest mics I have heard, it can cut through a band like what I thought only handheld mics can do. I also gave this to a senior pastor who also liked to sing at the end of his messages and compliments on his speaking and the end of services came from everyone. If you want a powerful mic, and you are done playing around with the little guys, its time to get this microphone. The ONLY downside is that if you have a really small head (has happened to me with two tiny women) this headset probably wont fit you and will be pretty loose. I just used some mole skin to tape it down on them and we didn't have any problems after that.

[9 to 57 V] I use three of these mics for interview situations, and their great advantage is that the directional design minimizes bleedover between mics thats common when using omnidirectional mics. Bought this one to round out the kit after using two of them along with an omni lab mic on a project and getting bleedover on the channel with the omni. Used all three of them in the second shoot on that project...no bleedover!

[15 x 0.6 x 0.6"] Obviously, you cant go wrong with Shure. But, this omni antenna is great. Super versatile and no assembly required. If you need an antenna cant recommend this one enough.
