[4 MB] I love the clamshell design - slightly depress the button to open, but it also has the backup method of opening. I use different software to burn video/photos/audio to optical disc for those who still need optical, and I have not yet tried it with my software. I purchased two of these. One is for my boss & I needed get a matching one in case he ever has any problems. This review is for both devices - one on Windows 10 pro & the other on Windows 11 pro. The Pioneer was plug and play on both devices. I have not yet downloaded the Cyberlink software, nor have I yet had time to see if this works with my existing software. I can confirm that it played back both audio and video easily on both Windows 11 pro and Windows 10 Pro. Windows 11 used Windows Media Player, and Windows 10 Pro I use VLC & another player. Easily worked well on both, and was super simple to plug and play. Glad I got it & that I no longer have to use the trusty paperclip method to open an optical drive any longer. (did not seem to matter how new they were - until this clamshell design, I have not found an optical drive that didn't need a paperclip to open it occasionally - sometimes always) This one even if it does not pop all the way open, is so easy to open & close! 5 |

[255] The Synology Surveillance Station software is the best security camera software we have used, having tried two before this. It is more costly having to buy licenses for each camera you want to use but at least the licenses are transferrable between hardware upgrades and not bound to a specific camera's MAC Address or hardware. The software is very smooth and easy to use with advanced feature available if needed. It has otherwise been very plug-n-play switching over. 5 |

[2.8mm] I purchased this camera for my residence and use it on a Mac mini with Security Spy software (excellent for Mac). The camera works great and Ive had it for a year no with NO issues. Auto tracking works great, able to read license on cars driving past my house. I highly recommend this. B & H made the purchase cost friendly and quickly processed. 5 |
