Optiplex Micro 7010

[260 W with IEC] Bought this Dell Optiplex 7010 to replace an older Dell computer that was getting old and slow. This new one is much smaller than my old unit, runs very quiet and stays cool. First time I have used Windows 11 but I found it pretty intuitive and the initial setup was very easy even for this low tech guy. Can't believe how fast this computer boots up! My only complaint, and this is a Microsoft issue I think, is that the installed media player has no provision to rip CD's that I can find. (Told you I am low tech). That is the main reason I bought a computer with an optical drive. I ended up having to download the legacy media player from the Microsoft store and now I am a happy camper. Great machine so far.

[180 W with IEC] Dell is reliable, and the Optiplex 7020 gives me what I need in a desktop computer.

[Active] Used two of these on a Dell 7010 i5-3470 with the built-in Intel 2500 graphics, together with the built-in VGA port, to run THREE VGA monitors simultaneously under Windows 10 . Need to disable the Dell driver and then get the driver from Intel as Dell disable 3-screen functionality. I was a little sceptical at first whether these would do the job, as many 'active' adapters are a lot more expensive. An added bonis is that these don't need a separate USB port for power.

[0.095 lb] We continue to use these drives when upgrading all of our Dell Optiplex systems. Proved to be the most compatible and reliable so far.

[0.16 lb] Put a pair of these in my Dell Optiplex 9020 quad core computer. Have Windows and Linux partitions on 1st drive, 2nd drive as storage. More than fast enough for my use, boots Windows 10 x64 incredibly fast. Thanks B&H.

[0.37 lb] I have replaced all the DP to VGA adapters for my office computer (Dell OptiPlex 780's). This adapter secures well to the computer and being it has a pigtail it does not extend much past the onboard VGA monitor cable. I have 35 workstations with dual monitors and non of these adapters have failed going on three years.

[Mid 2023] The Dell 23.8 OptiPlex 7420 Plus All-in-One Computer was a breeze to set up and start using. I selected this model to replace an existing Dell computer I used for many years. Does everything I need it to do and works exactly as advertised. I also connected my ancient HP printer to this AIO and it worked without a hitch. Dell got this one right. Nice job!

[Low Profile] This card runs Ice cold, in my dell optiplex SFF pc Best cooling system on any of the 3050 cards for sure!

[6] I replaced a single NIC in an older Dell Optiplex that I use to run pfSense. It was recognized immediately and drivers were already present. Adopted immediately and after assigning the proper interface designations, it was up and running. I purchased this through B&H because I trust them to make sure it's actually in Intel card. While attempting this project, I have learned the hard way, that you get what you pay for. Trust B&H !!
