Orange Crush Bass 50

[57 ohms] Love it. All their products are fantastic. It does exactly what I need it to. Crush.

[4.3 x 4 x 3.8"] Easy to mount and use. I have a Nikon Z-50 so there options for my platform were limited. With that being said I like the orange so no real concession. However, I was not able to utilize the FTZ mount without a minor alteration. Maybe this has been corrected since I purchased mine. Plus I have transitioned away from my old lenses and use only Z mount lenses. I still love it just thought it fair to mention.

[8 Ohms] Although affordable, the fits, finishes, appearance, and workmanship are exceptional for any price. After about a 20-hour break-in the sound transforms into a sound quality that rivals the very high-end professional models. Focal is definitely driving their best technology down into the models obtainable by mere mortals. The near-field tuning is the best I've heard at any price such that the voice or instrument heard from the sweet spot is a living presence that materializes in the middle of your head. A truly wonderful experience. It has a very accurate and detailed sound, including a surprising amount of bass and distortion-free treble. I was initially concerned I may need a woofer, but it is not necessary due to the strong bass profile. In fact, I barely have to touch the EQ since the default tuning is truly based on studio experience. I was also concerned that the Alpha 50 has fewer watts of output than the Alpha 60, but the Alpha 50 has more than enough power such that I can't even get the volume of my pre-amp over the 9 o'clock position. One of my best B&H purchases of all time!

[Bass-Reflex] The sound is very good for a sub $50 speaker set that does not need to be plugged into the wall. I have the pebble speakers without the bass unit and these really do add a lot more bass, but not overpowering bass. They look cool, as well.

[3.5-Slot] This is a nice upgrade from my 5700XT, can crush everything at 2k. Will need to get a 4k soon.

[0.03 lb] I bought a green and an orange one.

[20.0 mm] Not just inexpensive, but work great as well. I've found that the ND and orange together work well for the Moon. Orange alone also works for the Moon. Blue is my favorite for Jupiter. A very nice set of filters.

[52 mm] I have a 49mm #22 Orange on backorder for my new Leica q2 monochrome, but I have the 52mm #22 orange for my Nikkors AIS lenses when I shoot b&w on my Z6. Absolutely makes a huge difference in the sky/cloud contrasts and works well with people, so I pretty much leave it on my lenses.

[2 TB] Orange makes it easy to find in a jungle of gear, orange hard drive, orange cable. Works perfectly with OS X. TrNsfers fast and completely without issues. Large 5TB size is the standard now Must get!!
