[7.375 lb] This low cost Outlet and Power Conditioner with analog Ammeter and Voltmeter from ART is a great value in my opinion. The unit is constructed from metal and has a quality look and feel. The pull-out lights are a great convenience and provide plenty of illumination for my audio cabinet. The ammeter and voltmeter are always illuminated while the unit is on and provide dim but noticeable lighting in a dark room.

[Aluminum] This is an updated review based on two-plus years of use and now adding a second unit to my system.  In my earlier review I complained about the unexpectedly noisy fan in the enclosure. (and I was not alone in this criticism). But I put up with it because I loved the functionality and performance. In fact, I recently decided to buy a second one when I needed more storage.  When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by the much quieter the new one is. (but also a little annoyed that OWC support had told me that nothing could be done when I complained about the original unit.) Anyway...the big difference between the older and newer units made it clear that they had changed the fan assembly in the newer ones. This prompted me to contact OWC to see if I could possibly buy a new fan to put in my old enclosure. Turns out you can! So $15 later, my old Express 4M2 is now just as quiet as the brand new one. I'm a happy camper. PS The performance continues to be excellent after almost three years.
