We just had a lightning strike at my office - and the surge travelled through the internet lines (ethernet in the office). We did not have this installed, but we do now. Best investment you can make!

[PoE] Got this ethernet surge protector to put between a gaming computer and my rack. Who knows what will be connected to that computer over time, and hope this will prevent the worst.

[10' / 3 m] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been looking for a protector that will protect my Ethernet connection for a while. This surge protector is very durable and efficient. It holds up to use and protected my equipments when i had an unexpected power outage.

[SSID] Working from home our Wifi out on our deck was always spotty and very slow. I got this and a POE outdoor switch to ethernet back to my router inside. The only thing I regret is not doing this sooner. We now can stream 4K movies outside. Oh yeah and we can work too.

[2 dBi] I have been using this outdoor access point for a year. It survived summer heat and lightning storms. Ethernet port is only 100Mbit/s, but that's exactly how much I wanted to share. PoE adapter comes with a very short power cord, which I replaced it with item #CA27400 (6 ft).
