[Twist Lock Seal] I've been learning to use an inflatable kayak with the intention of being able to photograph more from the river. I decided to bring the SLR with me and to get the Overboard SLR Camera Bag to protect my equipment. The bag easily carried my camera and 2 lenses. During the latest trip I flipped the kayak and the Overboard kept everything protected and dry. I now trust it completely with my equipment. I will soon be buying a larger OverBoard to pack more with confidence. One thing I didn't expect is that the OverBoard is perfect for carrying a small load, so now I have an alternative to bringing my large camera bag on a hike.

[0.3 lb] I use the Overboard Waterproof iPhone case everyday ( in conjunction with the camera float and my GPS tracker App) on my SUP paddles / workouts. The large viewing window let's me track my speed and progress while stand up paddleboarding with the confidence that my iPhone is safe and secure. I love the safety of having my phone with me on the water should I need it - and the pictures I take through the bag come out great. Knowing my phone is safe from water damage, and highly visible in the OB case is a comfort.

[Grained leather] I'm usually out shooting just before a storm, trying to capture lightning and clouds. I have found the Waterproof Overboard DSLR Camera Bag to be one of the best investments I've ever made as I value my camera and can't imagine having it damaged from a sudden downpour. There is more than enough room for my Fujifilm HS 20 EXR and compact EF 20 flash unit along with a small charging unit and remote shutter release. I now take it with me even on sunny days as I never know if I'll be going into swap areas, rivers or beaches.

[Yes] I bought one of the overboard classic 25L backpacks About 6 years ago when they had them cheap at a well known membership store... And over the years, I wished I bought more. I used that backpack for years shooting in crazy downpours and blizzards and even on a river rafting event. Never had water in the bag once. My only gripe for he old bag had been the straps where not comfortable, it was just a tad too small, and there where no convenient pockets outside. Well this new 40L covers 2 of those concerns. It's considerably roomier than my old bag and the backpack straps are much more comfortable. However, there is NO pocket on the inside like there is on my old bag- not a deal breaker, but I loved the pocket on my 25L since it allows me to keep Wallet, phone, keys, or anything else need to access easily since the pocket was toward the top. Well, the 40L has no internal pocket and only the 2 small pockets on the side on the outside... Which are not really usable for much since here is no way to turkey secure anything you might put in there. But they're there. I have not had the new 40L in any kind of crazy weather like my old one, but I can see it's made every bit as good as the old one and I LOVE my old one, so I'm sure this one will serve me well for years. Also, overboard has excellent customer service in my experience- I lost one of the side clips to my old bag and contacted them to see if I could purchase a replacement and they sent me a new one for free and even covered shipping. I would not hesitate to buy any of their bags. I put an Fstop ICU pro XL or one of my top loading inserts in the new 40L making it a waterproof camera backpack. Highly recommend if you Will be in bad weather and need to be sure to keep stuff dry!

[1.5 lb] I needed an underwater housing for my SLR so I could use it on a trip that would include some very basic snorkeling. Admittedly I was a little reluctant to jump in the ocean with my camera in what amounted to a plastic bag, but there was nothing to worry about because the bag worked flawlessly. It was real easy to use, the camera went in and came out quickly. Obviously it was cumbersome to use the controls underwater due to there being a thick plastic bag between fingers and the controls but it beat not having a camera that could be taken underwater. I considered buying a rigid housing that would allow for better control interface underwater but I decided since I am not a professional and since I don't do extensive underwater photography investing that much money seemed foolish. An additional bonus is this case folds up pretty small, so tucking it in my camera bag was easy.

[Green] Ive been looking for a bag that I can carry a spotting scope in- that would also house my SLR camera and lens. This bag is legit- and wish I would have found out about it sooner. It is a bit more than other bags, but is worth the cost. Typical Swarovski product, so the quality, abilities, and materials are thought about and top notch!
