Owc Lightning Cable

[1.9 GHz] I absolutely love this shuttle. It has so many potential uses. I made the move to a Mac Studio a while back and found I had data storage issues. I was using all kinds of external SSD drives and such as well as an OWC Mercury Rack, which was just for backing up to as the USB 3 interface was not fast enough. I installed four 4TB silicon Power 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD memory modules into the U2 and then installed the U2 Shuttle into the first slot of an OWC Flex 8 Thunderbay. I tied these 4 modules together into a RAID array which gives me a lightning fast 16TB drive. My application is audio and video editing and VFX and have to say.... WOW. This thing is lightning fast.I am very impressed with this shuttle and would highly recommend it. I'm thinking I will grab a few more of these for on set media card transfer and backup purposes. Great product OWC!

[USB-C Male] Just your typical TB4 cable. Works. Bought it for a longer cable for my OWC dock, my OCD is satisfied that it's the same brand. :)

[Steel] After purchasing the ProGrade brand Dual Slot SD card reader this brand would not connect to my laptop using the usb-c cable. B&H said you most likely have a bad usb-c cable. After trying two PROGRADE card readers neither one of them would connect. After settling on the OWC dual slot SD card reader, I wish I would have made the OWC purchase from the start. OWC has a plug and play device that connects right out of the box. It's tethered usb-c cable tucks into a slot on the base of the unit so you never lose your connecting cable. Nicely engineered product! Plus it's $10.00 less than the PROGRADE brand. The OWC dual slot SD card reader is a solid purchase!

[Passive] Using it on a OWC Thunderblade and it delivers the same speed as the original OWC cable. I am happy with this, will order a spare one on my next order.

[5] I should have purchased these much sooner than I did. Given the ease of TB cable disconnects with my OWC TB hub, this would have prevented most of those. It's entirely too easy to unintentionally pull out the wrong cable on the back of the OWC hubs. Of course, I wish the hubs had been designed in such a way that cable disconnects were more difficult to accomplish in the first place. More importantly, the previous price of theses doodads was ridiculous. The new/ reduced price has made it easier to stomach purchasing this remedy for the poor port design of the OWC TB hubs. This product is worth purchasing.

[6.6' / 2 m] This is a well made cable! Strong and tougher than most vinyl/plastic cables and works well for those who want a lightning cable which angles to the side. Great for use in a phone holder or reducing the hassle of the cable sticking out when putting your phone down. Great Cable!

[0.045 lb] I ordered this cable by mistake, I needed the 2.5 mm cable for my Vello lightning/motion trigger. Fortunately I haven't needed to use the cable or trigger.
