[Internal] Been using this for a while and it works perfectly. I have 1G ethernet and 10G fiber connected and everything is fast and stable. Flow control is turned on for every port. Can't think of a better way to get 10G for this price.

[Cat 6] Not much to say, it's a USB to Ethernet adapter. Works exactly like you would want it to.

[8.95 lb] Making mirrored backups of image files. Have several OWC external drives and no problems with any of them. This is Thunderbolt 1 not Thunderbolt 2 but it's extremely fast. A power switch would be nice but easy enough to unplug the Thunderbolt cable. USB 3 adds flexibility.

[1346 MB/s ] I've owned quite a few OWC drive enclosures over the years, frankly I've had some bad experiences with more than one product. The 4 Bay Thunderbay Thunderbolt 2 has been stellar. I suspec the same will be the case with this Thunderbay 4 / Thunderbolt 3 version. They have been solid and dependable and have become the backbone of my data storage. The Thunderbolt 2 version is still rocking on for heavy video file storage. This Thunderbolt 3 version will become primary and the TB2 version will become a backup storage unit. While I have had a great experience with these drive enclosures, I have given up on Softraid software. It has been a bag of hurt that is no longer worth my time or hassle. User authentication and updates were typically a big pain in the a@#, causing me un-needed time and stress. Also, the liccense only covers one OWC product, requring a separate license for each OWC unit. I have two Thunderbays, one Thnderbay mini and a Express 4M2- I'm not paying a for a license for each. Likewise, switching the drive to a backup computer becomes prohibitive and burdensome. My Thunderbays are now used primarily as non-raid enclosures fwiw. That said, my primary editing drives are NvME's in a OWC Express 4M2 unit, striped in a RAID 0 config, using Apples RAID assistant rather than Softraid. Although ultimate performance capability is not achieved, it is more than good enough and I don't have to deal with Softraid. it's more than worth it. Long story short, the Thunderbays are great, the Softraid software... not so much.

[14 x 9.6 x 3.4"] I purchased the OWC Thunderbolt Hub for my Mac mini M1, Transfer speeds of video files using an Anglebird CFast card reader either through the hub or directly plugged into the Mac mini is not noticeable to me. Please note this is just my observation not using any speed testing apps.

[2x 60 mm Fans] i just bought this because I was having a lot of trouble with my OWC Thunderbay 4 bay with Thunderbolt 3. My drives were randomly getting ejected for no reason. There's some kind of mysterious problem with either the OS or the enclosure. Anyway I went out and got this guy and I really like it so far. Nice solid design. Quiet fan. It's relatively fast with the TB2. I've only had it for about two weeks so I don't know if I'll have the power supply problem a few others have mentioned but so far so good.

[1x HDMI 2.0] So out of the box the dock would not allow me to connect my USB peripherals. I had to uninstall and update my Thunderbolt Drivers to get it to work. More issues on Windows-side rather than OWC. OWC might want to add that potential disclaimer on their site but otherwise works perfectly.

[0.115 lb] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Belkin USB-C to Ethernet + Charging adapter is amazing tool to have with you when you need an ethernet connection. The USB-C to Ethernet + Charging adapter charges your connected device while also providing an ethernet connection, so no need for multiple connectors. I have been using this on my Android phone and my laptop, both devices have a USB-C port and my Belkin adapter worked great on both devices. It provided an adequate charge and a stable internet connection without any issues. The adapter was immediately recognized by both devices and there was no need to install any software to make the adapter work. The adapter is also small and portable enough to carry with you anywhere you go. I would highly recommend this adapter to anyone looking for an ethernet + charging adapter.

Got this to connect my XPS 13 from 2016/2017 to my 27" thunderbolt Apple monitor. It worked straight out of the box. However I have a Dell TB16 dock as well. Tried using that as well. So the dock's usb-c connector goes into the XPS, and the Startech adapter goes from the dock to the Thunderbolt monitor. That didn't work: I needed to update the BIOS, Thunderbolt firmware, thunderbolt driver, and installed I believe the latest thunderbolt application from the Intel website. Everything works now, even the audio and usb ports on the monitor. (facetime camera doesn't work, since it can't find a driver). All in all good buy, but I can't connect my 2019 macbook Pro to my thunderbolt monitor with the startech adapter. Monitor does not activate. Seems to only work with Windows machines.
