The microphone splitter allows me to break out the announcer's mic for my feed, avoiding the music bed and associated problems. This saves me countless hours of post production work.

[Yes] I do live music production and we were looking for an economically smart solution for open coms. We went with the three unit set from Eartec. They work surprisingly well, and the batteries last forever and charge very quickly as well. No wires! I wanted to add a dual ear unit to our existing system, as I was using an ear plug for my open ear during performances. This dual gave me the ear protection I needed and is nice and loud. One note when considering this item, eartec had to contact me to give send the correct unit that works with the existing system we had. They were very easy to work with and helpful. Highly recommended.
