Panasonic 4K Camera With Stabilization

[Presets - Yes] Ive been using Panasonic camcorders for several years now and each one keeps getting better. This camera has solid optical stabilization, good auto focus and all the things i look for in a camera. Only one small complaint i have it on the V770 that i came from, this model doesnt allow you to turn on the led light from the main screen. You have to go into the menu which is a paid, but not a deal breaker.

[1.9 lb] 4k quality of the Panasonic hc-vx870 is beyond my expectations, I use this camera out in the woods an for hunting. My only downside is that the 4k records in MP4 an I don't have a video editing software get that can work with MP4

[Yes] I am panasonic camera user since 2004 with the DVX 100a and I am totally satisfied with the function of the AG-CX350 4K even though I don't use the 4K much the pictures still look great.

[4.08 to 81.6mm] I have a Panasonic 770.  I needed to upgrade a different camera that did poorly with extreme back-lighting.  I have really liked the 770 and had an investment in extra batteries (and learning curve).  So I really didnt want to look outside the Panasonic line.  The 981K looked like the perfect fit for me. Basically it is an updated version of the 770, allowing 4K resolution. I have done a couple of jobs with it, and it operates just like the 770.  I am not a black belt videographer.  I need the ability to mount cameras on tripods and just push the record button.  These Panasonics have always produced exactly what I needed simply using the automatic mode.  In particular, the auto-focus and backlighting adjustment work beautifully. One slight improvement with this camera is that if you have your SD card formatted as ExFAT, the camera will now save the session as a single large file, even if it is greater than 2GB.  Previously, it chopped a long program into several chunks.  Not a huge deal, but a little simpler now. I should caution, when recording in 4K mode, the files quickly become enormous.  That has nothing to do with the camera, per se.  It is just a huge load of pixels.  Of course, you can always select lower resolutions if you need to keep the file size down. I strongly recommend the Watson B-3648-2 battery with 3560 mAH of power.  This will run the camera ~3 hours.

[58 mm (Front)] The Panasonic 14-140mm lens has a range that's hard to beat. It's optical stabilization works together with the stabilization in-body. It's a very sharp lens.

[D-Tap] This is my second GoPro (previous was a HERO5 Black). Stabilization and 4K framerate have been improved on this model, compared to my HERO5 Black. I like to use these on a one-handled gimbal around products and displays, an other scenarios, versus static shots. I also mount them for time-lapse, and just recently used one as a live camera in a multi-cam live-stream.

[0.1 lb] I have two of these and love them. The stabilization is great and can run at 4K 60p, which is a huge benefit for action video. Super happy with the Hero7 Black series.

[>96 dB] I have a Panasonic BluRay player that I love... however, after being forced to get a 4K TV when my beloved 1080p LG TV died, my blu ray discs looked awful on the 4K display. I'm not interested in re-buying my collection on UHD, and the vast majority aren't available in that format anyway. So I took the plunge and purchased the UB820 with the hope that I would upscale better than the TV hardware... I am pleased to say that it definitely does and my blu ray discs look wonderful again. I did purchase a few 4K UHD discs and they of course look amazing as well.
