Panasonic 4K Digital Camera

[4.7 x 2.4 x 1"] As a collector of various digital camera classics by LEICA, Panasonic LUMIX and NIKON, I like the ability to keep all my batteries alive with the excellent Watson 2 bay battery charger and the different available plates.

[Yes] The Panasonic HC-VX981 turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. Top 2 qualities are ease of use and unequaled image quality, seriously, watching my movies and pictures on a TV screen seems like I am at the movies! Then, as you dwell into what the camera offers you, your horizon keeps expanding, both using the different modes and formats it offers. Stabilization is great, and so is the little light for night scenes. Additionally, the movie shoots in complete darkness, using infra-red. The only feature I would have like to have is a wide-angle around 29mm or lower. The zoom is optical at 20x, (phenomenal), then a hybrid optical/digital at 25x, and a digital going to 1,500x. The camera is light at use, but I recommend a larger battery. It's a 4k camera, with a clean HDMI.

[Zipper] Great digital bridge camera with all the bells and whistles I need, and then some! Wasn't sure about the brand (Panasonic) at first but after playing with it for a while, it's as good as any brand of camera I've used and with the Leica lens, probably better.

[Lithium-Ion] Sopme years ago I purchased a Panasonic Digital camera from B & H. I had not used it for several months and found my battery dead. To my surprise and delight, B & H not only had the battery I needed, but upon ordering it I received it two days later. What a store! Thanks again for great service.

[1.9 lb] 4k quality of the Panasonic hc-vx870 is beyond my expectations, I use this camera out in the woods an for hunting. My only downside is that the 4k records in MP4 an I don't have a video editing software get that can work with MP4

[Yes] I am panasonic camera user since 2004 with the DVX 100a and I am totally satisfied with the function of the AG-CX350 4K even though I don't use the 4K much the pictures still look great.

[4.08 to 81.6mm] I have a Panasonic 770.  I needed to upgrade a different camera that did poorly with extreme back-lighting.  I have really liked the 770 and had an investment in extra batteries (and learning curve).  So I really didnt want to look outside the Panasonic line.  The 981K looked like the perfect fit for me. Basically it is an updated version of the 770, allowing 4K resolution. I have done a couple of jobs with it, and it operates just like the 770.  I am not a black belt videographer.  I need the ability to mount cameras on tripods and just push the record button.  These Panasonics have always produced exactly what I needed simply using the automatic mode.  In particular, the auto-focus and backlighting adjustment work beautifully. One slight improvement with this camera is that if you have your SD card formatted as ExFAT, the camera will now save the session as a single large file, even if it is greater than 2GB.  Previously, it chopped a long program into several chunks.  Not a huge deal, but a little simpler now. I should caution, when recording in 4K mode, the files quickly become enormous.  That has nothing to do with the camera, per se.  It is just a huge load of pixels.  Of course, you can always select lower resolutions if you need to keep the file size down. I strongly recommend the Watson B-3648-2 battery with 3560 mAH of power.  This will run the camera ~3 hours.

[Shoe Mount] I love this camera it is the best of the best for a digital camera.

[>96 dB] I have a Panasonic BluRay player that I love... however, after being forced to get a 4K TV when my beloved 1080p LG TV died, my blu ray discs looked awful on the 4K display. I'm not interested in re-buying my collection on UHD, and the vast majority aren't available in that format anyway. So I took the plunge and purchased the UB820 with the hope that I would upscale better than the TV hardware... I am pleased to say that it definitely does and my blu ray discs look wonderful again. I did purchase a few 4K UHD discs and they of course look amazing as well.
