Panasonic Rechargeable Battery Charger Green Light

[0.185 lb] Great light but getting the rechargeable battery will make you use it so much more often.

[1] I used this charger to charge the battery for my Olympus 8010 camera. When a depleted battery is placed in the charger, a red light goes on. When fully charged, a green light goes on. This charger will not overcharge the battery but bring it to a full charge, so leaving it in when the green light is on fully tops off the battery charge. The battery seems to have a longer charge as a result. I really like this battery chaarger.

[4] The Panasonic Charger Travel Bundle is compact, light weight and charges the battery quickly. A bit pricey, but the kit includes an OEM battery, and in my experience, OEM batteries recharge fully for more years than generic ones. I did not need the USB cable & transformer, as these units came with the Lumix camera that I purchased and would have preferred to purchase only the charger and battery.

[Lithium-Ion] Great rechargeable battery. Has a little green led to tell you it's fully charged. Also has a plug on the battery where the charging cable can plug in. I bought it as an extra battery for the XPH30R Headlamp I bought here as well.

[0.25 lb] I tried a different brand of rechargeable battery several years ago (bunny related) and found that it didn't hold a charge very well. I am now back to using panasonic eneloops again. And B & H, as always, is a great source for these batteries and many other electronic items as well.

[LED] Typical for Pelican this light is extremely well made and Bright. I already own several other rechargeable units so I switched to a Rechargeable Pelican Battery as soon as I opened it (Through the two included Duracell 123 in my bag).

[5 x 4.7 x 1.2"] I'm only reviewing this to give everyone a heads up on why you should only buy this Battery from Panasonic. The LX10 does not include an external Battery Charger, you have to charge the battery while it's in the camera which #1 is a pain and #2, is not a convenient way to have a spare battery. Big Mike's Sells a Battery Charger Kit. I bought the Big Mike's Battery Charger Kit for this particular battery. It comes with the Charger and 1 or 2 (depending on which kit you buy) NON Panasonic Brand Batteries. The Charger is fine and works perfectly and charges the Battery fast but be aware of the Batteries they supply for the LX 10, they are slighly oversized and can get stuck in the camera making them very difficult to remove. When I first tried to insert the battery I could feel how tight it was and decided not to take any chances and discarded the battery to a recycling center. I bought this Battery that Panasonic makes and won't have to worry about any problems. I know they cost more than the knock off batteries but I'm not going to damage my LX10 to save a few bucks.
