[4.6 x 2.35 x 1"] Ordered to use on a Panasonic video camera. No issues, no complaints. Works very well.

[14-Bit] With all the great cameras released in 2020, I stuck with Panasonic for these reasons. FYI: I rack focus and don't rely on auto-focus, this has improved over the GH5 but AF doesn't compare to Sony or Canon camera. (Not in order) 1. Price & footage. Nothing comes close at this price range to achieve the photos/video quality. 2. Their Menu is user friendly so I can focus on shooting, instead of figuring out where that setting is to change something. 3. The Image Stabilization, nothing comes close yet. I've found myself not using my gimble. 4. I can use this as a B camera on film sets. You can load LUTS (works perfect with Pansonic cinema cameras), Anamorphic video, V-log, V-Gamet, 4k RAW, Vector scopes, etc. 5. The Timelapse mode: Avoid Flicker, Timelapse video in S&Q mode, resolution, low light, etc. 6. Lowlight shooting, Sony is still king but Panasonic is a formattable opponent. 7. S&G mode, I can easily switch the dial to slow or fast mode for B roll footage, etc. There is a crop but I usually cut to a close-up in slow-mo so it's not a problem for me.

[PC Terminal] As someone once said, “If you like your current camera, you can keep your current camera.”  Or you can just acknowledge the changing times and take a serious look at something much smaller, faster and with many more features and benefits. I own this camera and purchased it from B&H along with the Panasonic 16-35mm f/4 lens, the Panasonic 24-105 mm f/4 lens, the Panasonic 50mm f/1.4 lens and the really cool and small XLR adapter. What really sold me on coming over to the Panasonic S1H from 20 years with Canon was watching the just released training video for the S1H authored by the former Sony training video legend, Doug Jensen. https://vimeo.com/391706599. It was and is the best $49.95 I have ever spent.  4 hours of in depth and real world training, including 18 different videos. This is a professional training video by a professional with some serious street cred, not some guy with his ballcap turned around backwards with an iPhone taped to the ceiling showing yet another unboxing of a camera. Prove it for yourself. Watch some S1H sample videos from Vimeo or YouTube. Or, build a simple Excel spreadsheet and compare the differences between the S1H and any camera you currently own or are thinking about purchasing. After dialing in the correct settings, I can readily see why Netflix has this camera on their approved list for content creators. 4:2:2 10 bit color internally and the ability to shoot in either full frame or Super 35mm.

[0.29 lb] I use it with my tripod for my Panasonic DVX100 Video camera, it's incredibly sturdy and I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Huge sturdy casters glide effortlessly on a hard floor or even on a carpeted one (but don't ask me about shag lol) For the price it can't be beat.

[200' / 61 m] The new G9II is a terrific upgrade in terms of better image quality, low-light noise handling and reliability of focusing thanks to both the new, better 25MB 4/3rds sensor, as well as finally incorporating a solid phase detect auto focus system. The color accuracy of the camera is excellent, and the menu system is still intuitive and straight-forward, if you have owned any of Panasonic's other hybrid cameras. I primarily do 90 percent photography (landscape, architecture, wildlife, air shows and boat races) and 10 percent video, so I think Panasonic positioned this camera well for those focused on stills photography with some video needs. I've been testing the various features of the camera for about a month now and I have to say that the implementation of focus bracketing makes good sense, as I do a reasonable amount of macro and just being able to drop the raw files into Helicon produces a far better final image output than most cameras can do internally with more flexibility. It also frees up camera memory and computational power for additional add-on functionality down the road. It should be noted that operating manual for this camera is 832 pages in length and I encourage you to download the pdf. That is because of literally all the functionality and flexibility that has been built into this hybrid camera. It truly is a highly customizable hybrid camera.

[7.4 V, 1 A] I needed a backup battery for my Panasonic HMC 40P video camera and didn't want to pay top price for a battery that may or may not work with my camera. The sales person was helpful in guiding me to the VW-VBG6 Lithium Ion Battery (7.2V, 4840 mAh). It came in time for a shoot I had scheduled at our church, charged quickly and worked like a charm. The battery life is more than sufficient for my uses. I must have recorded two hours straight and still had more than half the battery left.

[L-Mount] This new S5iiX is perhaps the best value of any camera on the market. The images and color are gorgeous, and color science is excellent. So much so I sold my Canon C70. The S5iiX is much more versatile and useful. Panasonic has outdone themselves in creating a camera that is so convenient to shoot video there's nothing quite like it. All the cinematic tools you need are at your finger tips; tools the other companies that make hybrid cameras refuse to include: wave form, C4k, shutter angle, and much much more, even false color with one of the ten possible LUTS you can store, Plus the Panasonic V-log is wonderful to grade, with a wide variety of LUTs to choose from. AF is now excellent, though Sony and Canon are perhaps marginally better...but Panasonic if famous for upgrades. I've always loved the look and ergonomics of Panasonic cameras. They are perhaps the only truly video oriented hybrid camera makers. The GH5 was revolutionary in its time and is still excellent. the S1H was ground breaking, but the S5ii X has knocked it out of the park with the bases loaded. Truly cinematic video features at your fingertips, excellent AF, a wide and growing number of excellent affordable lenses with microscopic focus breathing, state of the art stabilization, making hand held shooting a joy, 15 stops of dynamic range in full frame, NLE editing like butter with Pro Res, easy to grade V-log, tons of buttons that can be easily assigned, and much much more. Thank you Panasonic for making such a fantastic, easy to use camera. You've set the industry standard. Once you shoot with the Panasonic S5ii X, see how easy it is and how special the images out of the camera are you'll be hooked. I only wish I could give the camera and extra star in thanks to Panasonic

[USB Type-C] I wanted a remote shutter for my Panasonic Lumix G95 camera. I preferred the Panasonic solution if possible. I can confirm this is compatible with the G95. Shutter works flawlessly for video and the extension cable is a great addition. I have only tested the shutter for video but it works exactly as desired.

[55 mm (Front)] The quality of the lens and optics are remarkable. Sharpness, critical focal distance, focus fall-off, lack of chromatic aberration, build quality, and the smoothness of the focal change with fly-by-wire are insane. I’m incredibly excited to put this to work. ONE THING to note. If you buy the L mount for panasonic, the sound of the motors changing the aperture within the lens are quite loud. If you were to rely solely on on-camera audio sources it will be picked up in quiet environments. Even when the lens is de-clicked this is the case. I actually video-chatted with B&H (amazing customer service) to verify it wasn’t a malfunction. After testing it in-store on a sony e-mount, we assumed my lens was defective until i received the replacement and did a second video call because of the same issue. Originally the representative said his lens was quiet, but i asked him to use an L-mount on a panasonic to verify this. Once he swapped lens mounts/camera he observed a noticeable increase in the noise of the aperture motors from the lens. VERY unlikely 3 lenses all have an issue.  All that said: I’m happily keeping the lens but wanted to let people know because i haven't seen this mentioned anywhere yet.

[7.2 VDC] Just purchased this battery for a Panasonic XC-H900M video camera. Perfect fit and appears to be compatible with charger and camera. So far so good. I have been using the camera with this battery for about 1 hour so far and everything is working. I will still have to see how long it holds a charge and how many charge cycles it lasts.
