[1.75 lb] Ok Shame on all MFG that don't provide the power supply with a new item purchase that has 4 pin XLR required. This product works as described.

[3 x 2.8 x 0.3"] My special 12v Power supply had a single EPS 8 pin, the Dual Xeon board required 2 x 8 pin - I tried dual Molex to 8 pin it smoked and damaged the Power Supply, LP4 to 8 pin didnt work, the only adapter that works is this EPS48ADAP brought them in from the UK thankfully they are now here in Australia

[2.14 lb] Works great. Powers my camera via 4 pin xlr. There were cheaper power supplies available off of @ but went w/ this Switronix one due to the brand name and the fact that it was powering such an expensive piece of equipment. Although the power supply comes in a branded Switronix box, the power supply itself is not labeled Switronix, which made me think that Switronix perhaps outsources this supply and it maybe the same ones that are on @ for 35USD. But better safe than sorry. I am happy with it.

[1.075 lb] The Sound Devices power supply is compatible with any 12 VDC device using a 4-pin, Hirose connector. I use them with my Sound Devices 7xx recorders, but also with the Zoom F8 Field Recorder. It is much more reliable to use a latching connector than a tubular DC connector. Furthermore the cables and construction of the SD power supply are much more robust and manageable for use under field conditions.

[Independent] I'm not using this as a charger. It's an inexpensive power supply for any camera with a 4 pin XLR. I have 2 of these for use with a JVC GYHD 200.

[10x] I purchased the Fractal Terra in Jade. The build quality is excellent, panel gaps are minimal and uniform, and it’s very sturdy. Building was a relative breeze with the included step by step instructions. Be sure to get your dimensions in order and make sure everything will fit with at least a few mm of clearance on each side so your fans don’t hiss/whistle from being right up against the panels. SFX-L power supply went in mine fine, but it’s a very tight fit. I went with an ID-Cooling 47mm all black CPU fan, but coupled with my relatively small RTX 3070, I could have gone way more aggressive with the CPU cooling. Thermals for an RTX 3070 peak around 75° under torture test (Furmark2) and CPU peaks around 78° under torture test (CPU Burner). Under gaming load (Red Dead Redemption 2, 1080p, max everything, DLSS on Auto) GPU 73° / CPU 71° after 2 hours, both well within thermal capacity. This was without a 120mm fan mounted below the PSU for airflow since SFX-L power supply blocks the mounting point. I have this setup as an HTPC/living room gaming PC and it looks great on the media console with some other earthy brown and green accent pieces / live plants nearby. If you’re planning a midrange build like this, just get a regular SFX power supply, I just wasn’t able to find a reasonably priced one above 750W, so I opted for the 850W SFX-L to upgrade the CPU, cooler, and GPU later on. Overall a relatively painless install, instructions are very clear and give lots of helpful tips for cable management and other minor details useful for your specific build. Can’t wait to see what Fractal comes up with next!

[ATX] Pros: - Very powerful, 1200W, Platinum 80+ Class; - ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 Compliant; - Fully modular; - Hybrid fan control; - Compact size, 160 mm length; - Very high quality all components; - All types of cables, screws and straps in pack. Cons: None Overall Review: My previous power supply was Gold class, so I never had such wonderful PS before. This one is a new level - Seasonic Platinum Class - Piece of Art. Everything in package: Power Supply and cables are very high quality items, even screws. I've used supplied tester and user's manual for checking PS after unpacking, in normal mode with fan on. Installation Guide is clear and understandable. Assembling the new PC with this Power Supply was a pure joy and pleasure. Simple and easy. Power Supply works very quiet even under pretty heavy load. Totally I'm very satisfied with purchase of this Vertex PX-1200. Looking forward to apply 12VHPWR cable with a new video card. Power Supply is a heart of PC, it should be very high quality thus it can't be cheap. This one is the highest level of PS which I ever saw and hold in my hands.
