Pc Power Supply Extra

[12 GB] After 2 weeks of using it, it still is great. Installed in a older PC. Had to change power supply to get the 6+2 connector for this card. Otherwise simple to install and works with the games that wouldn't run before. Great price thanks B & H

[20 A] Will be using PC a lot. Wanted efficient overbuilt power supply. This is nice. Easy to install etc.

[120 VAC ] I have a single tower PC w/ large power supply, a few small things like hubs, smart home bridges, etc., on it and it runs smoothly when everything is on. When I first plugged it in, it off-gassed a lot! For about a day or two, the room smelled like something died under the house. Left the window open and soon things were back to normal. I have the Ethernet card in it so I can share it for shutdown. It turns out that was not strictly necessary, as my NAS could have plugged in via USB and then it served as the UPS server for other things. If you have a NAS, check out if it can shutdown your other things if connected via USB.

[Aluminum] Easy to use AND it comes with the power supply when some do not.

[0.05 lb] Lots of extra packaging, but arrived quickly and works as expected. The original power supply uses epoxy at the camera connect - this one is not epoxied. We'll see how long it lasts!

[3x Full Height] This case is immaculate and fun to build in. The only issue is the power extension cable from case exterior to sfx power supply. Some motherboards have a lower CPU location but the one I chose was a GIGABYTE B550I AORUS PRO AX. And some coolers aren't as big but the one I chose was a Noctua NH-L12S. combination fits the case, save for that power supply extension. there is no reason for the giant bulge and i hope Fractal looks into alternatives. I shaved extra plastic down with a band saw, then heated and bent with a heat gun, and added a few layers of electric tape to get it to fit and be safe. As a handyman with tools and knowhow I can get away with doing extra. But if you're not then I strongly suggest more research into dimensioning out your system or looking into known success stories. It is a flaw in the case design in my opinion but overall it's an amazing style and great to work with so I recommend finding a way.
