[9728 CUDA Cores] Aweome Graphics Card!!! The Asus 4080 TUF Gaming graphics card is a huge step up from my Nvidia 2080. Performance is fantastic and ray tracing, where the future is, is a big step up that AMD cannot touch even with their new cards. I am so glad I bought the Asus 4080. [3.5-Slot] It’s big, it’s powerful and does a great job speeding up my graphics. Installation was somewhat challenging. Get the power cabling right or nothing works, PCIe 8pin to 2+6 x 3 to the supplied 8pin x3 females to 16 pin male splitter. Use none of the pigtails on the PCIe - use only 3 separate cables! If you are short of a PCIe cable (my PSU only came with two). A cpu 8 to 8 pins will simply not work! Nothing turns on, not the fans, not even the bios displays, so the pin numbers are irrelevant determinants of functionality. Your power supply knows so don’t try to fool it. Get it all fight and presto you have wonderful graphics performance. Documentation sux 5 |
