Pelican 1600 Case

[Yes] I now own a total of six Pelican cases. Three are the model 1600 and this is the first model I ordered with the divider set. Although I carry my gear in a Tamrac Pro 614, I transport the gear in the Pelican case because the pelican case is pad locked and secured in my trunk (to the car frame) with a steel cable and lock. As for the other Pelican cases they hold audio gear like digital recorders, microphones and so on. Your gear is in an air tight environment and these cases are tough as nails. A good investment in my book.

[Ballistic nylon] Replaces the foam inside the lid of the Pelican 1600 case by screwing into preset holes. Once secured it holds tight. Plenty of room to store cards, cables, etc.

[27 x 18 x 13"] I needed to change the configuration of the foam cutouts of my Pelican 1600 case. Didn't need to replace the top or bottom one piece foams, just the two in the middle.

[Ballistic nylon] I use the Pelican 1600 case for my camcorder, batteries/charger microphones, lights, monitors etc. All which have chargers and accessories. The 1609 lid organizer stores all the extras that you wouldn't want to put into the foam. It is fairly priced and does exactly what it suppose to do -- keeps things organized. I have concerns about how long the zippers will last as they are very light weight. Time will tell. I would recommend this product to amateur and pro alike.
