Pentax Cameras For Sale

[1-Year ] As my old Pentax cameras have lasted forever and are built like tanks I am not expecting to need this warranty but I purchased it because of the reasonable price and length of the warranty ($50 and for 2 years after the Pentax warranty ends).

[72 mm (Front)] To preface this story, this is my first DSLR and my first Pentax. Before this I had owned two mirrorless cameras.  First I started with a Lumix S1 but was looking to upgrade and convinced myself to sell everything to buy into the Fuji GFX system. To my (and many others) surprise I was dissatisfied with not only the build quality of the 50sii but the images I was creating with it. Something just didn't look right. I couldn't place my finger on it but things looked... sterile?  I thought a digital medium format sensor was the answer to replicating my medium format film cameras but alas, this was not the case. I wanted to capture a black and white film look with a digital camera but couldn't afford a Leica monochrome. It was a risky move on my part but I sold my GFX after doing a lot of research into the K3iii monochrome. The first day I took it out I knew I had made the right choice. Images from this camera are pure magic and have tricked many people around me thinking it was film. Match this sensor with a M42 adapter and throw some Super-Takumar, it looks identical to B&W film. Love shooting this thing at night at ridiculously high ISO levels. The build quality is like a tank. View finder is bright and easy to focus. Speaking of focusing, the auto focus is faster than some of the mirrorless cameras Ive used. I don't ever want to go back to mirrorless after using this gem, there's nothing like framing your image through the lens. My only complaint is it takes a second to get used to exposing correctly. You need to be very mindful of blown out highlights. Images match that of any full frame camera I've ever used. I love this thing so much I can only hope Pentax will release a full frame monochrome camera in the future to compete with Leica. Anyway, if you love B&W photography then this is the camera for you.

[0.25 lb] Was given a telephoto lens & some old Pentax film cameras. I wanted to use the telephoto on my Nikon D7100, but it was not the same mount. Did an on line chat with B&H and was directed to this adapter. As soon as it arrived, I attached it to the camera & then attached the lens. It was a perfect fit for both the camera & the lens & I got some great shots that would have been impossible with my camera without this adapter. [Aluminum] Purchased this item for my new Pentax K200D digital camera. I have two older Pentax cameras in which the filter size is different on them. I do have this particular filter for the older cameras. This is why I purchased it for the new one. I have purchased from B&H before and have always been satisfied...

[1,037,000 Dot] I have been using Pentax digital cameras for 5 years now. I have own and use a Pentax *ist DL, K-x, two K-200D's and now a K-7. I have enjoyed every Pentax camera I have, but the K-7 is truly an artist's camera. Removed of superfluous gimmicks, the K-7 is incredibly versatile and with configurable options and architecture for getting exactly the shot you want. The pictures, especially compared to Canon and Nikon are much sharper, are accepted and edited will in Aperture in RAW format and produce excellent prints and other digital media. The video is excellent and in many ways surpasses other DSLR video I have seen. As with many, it is less than idea in very low light, but does competitively well. The battery grip by Pentax is overpriced in my opinion but still a good option and makes the camera much more ergonomic for the grip. Consider a third party battery grip of good quality. Haven't found anything that is remotely a functional or performance deal breaker with this camera. Great quality build and body, great functionality and superior images. instantly my favorite camera to use.

[Yes] I got this to use with Pentax 645NII and 67II cameras with 400mm telephoto lens w/1.4 and 2x rear converters and a Pentax 80mm ED spotting scope.  The lenses and scope balance perfectly and the horizontal and vertical tension can be set to an ideal tension.  I mount this head on a Manfrotto 475B tripod and by carefully leveling the tripod using the tripod's bubble level, the horizon is kept level when panning. [1.35 VDC] Appreciate that BH still carries the Wein RM 400 battery for Pentax Spotmatic Cameras. I especially use the Spotmatics for sunsets and total eclipse photography.

[1/1 to 1/128] This speedlite is very compatible with Pentax cameras. The controls are easy to use though you may need some little learning curve on understanding the manual.
