[0.07 lb] I'm using this on a 2021 M1 MacBook Pro to store my music library and a bunch of feature length videos, to free up space on the built-in drive. Music and videos (1080P) play fine, with no stuttering or gaps. It stays connected through sleep/wake cycles. It seats well and it seems impossible to accidentally disturb it. Blackmagic speed tests show 70MB/s write speed and 90 MB/s read speed, so you wouldn't want to use this for something like a Photoshop scratch disk, but for less demanding always onboard storage, it's a great solution. 5 |
