Philips Universal Remote For Roku

[F-type female] We bought this to use with a 40 inch Philips Roku TV. It works great and sounds great. In fact, other than just slightly less bass, it sounds as good as our older Philips Fidelio sound bar we use with our 65 inch Philips TV. Highly recommend for those with a Roku TV and for its decent sound quality.

[1.5 V] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually put the Duracell AAA coppertop powerboost batteries in my Roku remote as soon as I received over a month ago. I typically just use the Roku remote app on my cellphone because the generic batteries die very quickly. These batteries has definitely lasted longer than the generic batteries. They are still going strong in my Roku remote. I looked up the price and they definitely worth the price. I think, I will buy these batteries in the future. I do recommend purchasing these batteries especially if you don't want to continue buying batteries every month for your remote. ☆Will do an update on how long the batteries last.

[0.465 lb] We ordered the Roku remote to replace our old one that was falling apart. This new one looks the same but is wonderfully slimmer front to back and feels good in hand. It also has just a little texture to the casing, so it isn't slippery like the old one. We are pleasantly surprised. B&H delivered it quickly, too. I have never been disappointed by anything I've purchased from B&H.

I think this remote is better than the original that came bundled with my Roku Ultra (which I lost and had to replace). It also controls the volume on my Sony surround receiver. This model doesn't have a headphone jack, which I wasn't using anyway - the Ultra connects to Bluetooth earbuds directly - and using the Roku iPhone app for private listening sounds better anyway. Highly recommend it - can't believe this is on $20!

[2 Hours] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] What a great little remote. Got it for my AndroidTV Hisense TV. At first I was concerned because I realized that it was primarily built for Roku and a few other smart TV systems with no AndroidTV listed, but went ahead with the setup anyway and it works great! Followed the steps for setting up a Roku Hisense TV and it worked on first try. Able to control the smart features and the TV itself (power, volume). There are 2 buttons that didn't program - I guess they are designed specifically for Roku, but the nice thing is that this remote will allow you to learn from your old remote and map any button to do anything the previous remote did. Haven't tried that yet, but will probably remap the 2 buttons in the near future to do something useful. Great little remote all around and beats the big remote that came with the TV with about 100 buttons on it.

[Fire] We bought 2 Roku 4K streaming sticks a few weeks ago when we decided to finally “cut the cord” and ditch our long-time cable provider. Set up was very easy, and the learning curve for the transition from cable to streaming has been relatively painless. I do wish that the volume/mute controls were located somewhere other than on the right side of the remote — I keep hitting these buttons accidentally when holding the remote in my right hand. Overall, we are pleased.

[0.22 lb] Up here in the Great white North that is Canada, getting one of these Voice remotes from Roku is no easy task. I bought a Roku Stick+ about 10 months ago. We have 4 kids here, they lost the remote, and we were now stuck using the app and lending our phones to the kids all the time, at great risk. We couldn't find a remote in Canada. Roku is not allowing retailers to carry the product here. Thank God B&H had one, shipped it here and that it paired perfectly with our Stick+. One happy customer.
