[LED] I purchased this scanner to use in place of my large photo scanner. I look forward to getting the accounting software set up and using it. I love the fact that it scans both sides at once and does it fast I hooked up via USB and I look forward to using the scanners wireless feature

[80 lb (120 gsm)] I use to stock old photos together, All my old photos I used scanner edit restored and printed in good quality photo papers with printer thar says that prints last for over 100 or even 200 years when you keep in Archival albums and pages. I use pro archival album and photo pages. The old photos I keep in Archival boxes with the above the tissues between when first I cut in the right size. I have read it in Pro-Photo magazine and I think is ok.

[Download] I needed a good-quality, medium-priced Mac-compatible, photo scanner for scanning old family photographs. This one fit the bill! It's relatively fast and very easy to use. I was up and running with this scanner 10 minutes after opening the box. For my needs, it was a very good buy.

[Gray] Great scanner and quick! I am downsizing for a move and scanned several photo albums, almost 3000 pictures so far!! You have to save after each 50 scans, but takes no time at all!! Definitely recommend!

[Flatbed Scanner] I am in the process of digitizing photos. I did not want to wear out my combination printer/scanner so I purchased this Canon scanner for photo duty. My printer/scanner is a Canon so the software integrates with both with no problems. One thing that is a huge benefit with the Canon software is it will automatically crop the photos when they are scanned...depending on the physical size of the photos, put as many as possible on the flatbed (there must be some space between for proper cropping) and the software will automatically crop the individual pictures. This is a huge time saver. I have already scanned close to two hundred photos and have several hundred more to go. I am confident that the LIDE300 will continue the job. There are other types of photo scanners that are more proficient but this model is by far the most economical. Scanning time is quick. By the time I get the next batch out of the album, the scan is done.

[15 x 11.5 x 11"] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the imageFORMULA RS40 Photo and Document Scanner. This is a great scanner. Easy and simple to use. Great to store documents that you don't want laying around. Creates great photos and makes the process super simple. Well built with great value. Recommend this scanner for anyone.

[0.535 lb] Here is a secret, this thing can scan your personal photos at 1200dpi as well ( maybe) as the fast photo scanner. It will scan a 5x4 print in 1 second at 300dpi and about two seconds at 1200dpi. I just finished scanning about 2000 prints. For someone who has a high-quality flatbed scanner, Epson 750, watching this thing churn through piles of photos is an existential experience. It also does documents very well too. As mentioned the networking setup is absurdly stupid boarding on random. Why it can use the same system as every other Epson printer/scanner I don't know. I use it USB only to an iMac.

[0.4 lb] I used this kit to clean my EPSON FastFoto FF-680W photo print scanner as I digitized over 18,000 photo prints. I used up almost two bottles in the process. The cleaner kept the two glass plates in the scanner free from any spots or lines on the output jpegs. The cleaner dried streak free very quickly. I used it about once per album (300 pictures, 4 x 6 ). I would recommend this kit for anyone using a photo scanner for a project involving more than a few hundred pictures. One complaint. Instructions sheet covers is in many languages and could be clearer.
