Photography Flash Lighting Kits

[120 VAC, 60 Hz] Just starting out in off camera flash photography. Wanted something to learn lighting with. Quality is very high for what you pay for. As stated...no cold shoe adaptor so order the Stroboframe 300-SHO. Had everything assembled in less then 10 min and taking test shots with Nikon's CLS. This will help you take your photography to the next level. Carrying case seems very large and really decent quality. 100% happy with purchase...way to go B&H!!!

[0.3 lb] I will use this product as a fill and full flash for indoor photography and portraits. when I do not have my lighting system in place. It has many great features and is a great product and will enhance me in every way a flash can.

[4] I took a big gulp at the price, but bought this flash because I love close up photography, and have found lighting to be challenging. I really love the many combinations of flash you can set for these 2 units, and the results are fantastic! They are a bit fiddly for bigger or arthritic hands, but once you get them set up, they are easy to use.

[1.435 lb] I am very happy that I finally bought one of these reflector kits. I often find myself doing video/photo shoots in uncontrolled areas with sunlight or ceiling lights, where adding lighting is not practical for various reasons, but something needs to be done about the harsh shadows on faces. This reflector kit is a godsend, especially for close-up shots. You can have the subject hold the reflector disc leaned against their stomach to fill the shadows and they look so much better, all without the pain of bringing in artificial lighting. The 32-inch size is big enough to reflect sufficient light but small enough to keep the weight and wind from being too annoying. The spring ring inside the core reflector is nice and thick and the reversible cover is relatively easy to apply to it to change the color of the reflection. I highly recommend getting this.

[4x E26/E27] I bought this 3 point lighting kit on a whim based on a B&H sale. I have a ton of lighting kits, from Arris to other inexpensive LED kits. This one works great for the money. It comes in a pretty good carrying/storage bag, with 3 cheapie but reliable lighting stands. The softboxes aren't umbrella-type, quick set up softboxes. You have to take 3-5 minutes per light to set up the 4 metal rods and attach the softbox to the fixture, AND THEN you have to screw in each of the 4 light bulbs per fixture. So set up time, this is not the fastest kit. This also means you cannot store the lights with the bulbs installed (at least, not safely in the case it comes with). When done, you have to unscrew each bulb, and store the bulbs away in a container where they won't be easily broken, then break down the kit. That's packing up 12 light bulbs as part of your breakdown routine. If you're not looking for speed, or if you have the room to leave the softboxes assembled all the time, this kit will work great. If you're primarily concerned with set-up speed, this kit might not work. Although the included bulbs are great, I swapped them out for slightly more powerful ones with a slightly different color temperature (Alzo 27W, 5500k bulbs on @, 4 for $, bigger, brighter, warmer bulbs).

[Daylight] I feel like there should be more lighting kits sold similar to this one. It's a really convenient purchase. Same with having only one case - really helps with the loading/unloading.

[1.1 lb] We use these things all the time on interview setups. Using these along with our LED lights keeps our mobile video lighting kits small and light (pun intended), and gives lots of options for diffusion, bounces, etc, without having to carry more stuff around.
