[Yes, on Boom] Purchased this to attempt to upgrade an old Plantronics USB headset with foam ear pads. I liked the foam pads because it didn't isolate outside noise too much which means sidetone isn't quite as important. Comparing these to those, these are more comfortable, but I haven't fully adjusted to increased isolation yet. The adjustment on the headset was pretty loose on one side and would adjust the height when taking the set off. I ended up removing the screws on that side and bending the metal piece to add some stiffness. It's lame that I had to do that, but it now works perfectly. Overall, I don't think I could have found a better headset for my needs, which are conference calls and music.

[Hard-Wired] I'm using this to replace a cheap in-ear headset that came with one of my Smartphones year ago. I could not believe how comfortable the new Plantronics would be. It's great for hour-long Google Hangouts/Meet and Zoom. People actually mentioned that my voice is much clearer and that there's very little ambient noise, even when someone else in the same room is on a call at the same time. The mute button only mutes on the headset but the volume buttons on the headset control the volume within Linux. I even like listening to music through it.

[Omnidirectional] It offers both a USB connection for my computer and a headset jack for my phone. I downloaded Plantronics software for my Windows 10 PC. I am very pleased with this product

[Yes, on Boom] Was so glad to find this headset. I lost mine and it was a replacement. I like it so much better than what is now a available in stores. I love that it fits on my ear with only 1 earplug....perfect for driving without muffling other sounds . Thank you!

[-38 dBV/Pa] Very nice headset, and very comfortable to wear (light; snug, but not overly so, against your ears). It does a nice job noise-cancelling on my end - with two settings to choose from - and people on the other end of meetings/calls say I sound good with no background noise even though I work in an open office with a lot of coworkers around. I like the fact that it is a USB-C headset but with a USB-A adapter permanently attached for when you want to use the headset with an older computer or device without USB-C. I also like that there are volume up/down and mute buttons on the cord. I don't use the "Teams" button to answer calls as I tend to just use my mouse to click on Teams calls since my mouse tends to be closer to my fingers than the headset cord buttons. I do have two suggestions for improvement: 1) offer an "over the ear" version in addition to this "on the ear" design as this would help even more to reduce distracting sounds in your own background. 2) allow the user to adjust the amount of sidetone (hearing your own voice in your headset), preferably via the buttons on the cord (as opposed to some sort of app the user needs to install) Thanks.

[2] I used my headphones for the first time today and they were great. My last pair (plantronics) lasted 6 years so I was very skeptical. The set up was super easy. The sound was great. The only thing I have to get used to, is the minor vibrations These rest outside of the ear and not in it so your working with a mild tingle outside of the ear I’d give them a B+ A- Great value for the price

[Hard-Wired] My IT group at work provides this headset to employees, so I'm used to it, and when my old Plantronics at home started acting up I took the easy route and ordered this after seeing how ridiculously many headsets are out there. The sound is decent, and the mic works well. The ear cups can get a little warm during a long call, but not terribly so. I do wish the cable was a few feet longer sometimes, but it works fine on a short USB extension if needed.

[1x USB-A 2.0] I have used the Plantronics StarSet H31CD Headset for over 33 years as a 911 dispatcher. Obviously, I love this model. It is lightweight, very comfortable, and has good incoming and outgoing sound quality. I would highly recommend you purchase the extended warranty on it, though. I've had several of these headsets last for years, but my last one stopped working right at about 1 year. The extended warranty I purchased on it was well worth the price, as I got a refund on my full purchase price, and put that towards purchasing another one (for which I also purchased another extended warranty).
