[60 W ] Brighter than the F12 and very useful. Downside is the charge port is old style micro-USB and not USB-C 5 |

I have another review that I wrote about this mic, but B&H's website doesn't appear to let me update that review. I've now been using this mic almost daily for over a year. The audio is crisp and clear, background noise is kept to a minimum, and people on the other end of the meeting/phone call give compliments on the detail that this mic captures. I used to use a condenser mic, but that also had the annoying feature of picking up a lot of 60Hz hum. This mic doesn't do that and I didn't have to make any adjustments to the room either. For the person who mentioned they couldn't fit it in a shockmount, it has one internally. That is why the mic is the size that it is. For those complaining about the USB port, mine hasn't had any issues. I accidentally bent the micro usb connector on the cheap cable they shipped with it and the mic survived just fine. The cable, on the other hand, was useless after that. I solved this problem by finding a 90 degree USB adapter so that the connector isn't pointing straight out the back of the mic. It now sits mostly flush and swiveling the mic is more likely to cause the adapter to disconnect at the other end. If your laptop, like mine, is usb-c only, don't try to buy long usb-c to usb-c cables. They are crazy expensive. Instead, try to buy a usb-c to mini or micro usb-b cable. They are much cheaper. My setup is usb-c to micro usb (10 feet), then an adapter from micro-usb to usb-c (1 inch), and then finally a short usb-c to 90 degree micro-usb adapter (6 inches). 5 |

[Adapter] If you have an Android smartphone, you probably use a micro-B plug to charge it. With this adapter, you can take a USB drive (thumb drive) and plug into this adapter and then into the phone. Now you can copy all those pictures from your phone onto the USB drive. I hope this helps! 5 |

[Lithium-Ion] Full Disclosure: Coast provided me this ZX600 battery in order for me to test it out. But, everything I will talk about in this review is my own opinion. Coast Portland was not given copy approval nor any editorial input in this review. That means, they're reading this review for the first time along side you. These are the topics I will cover. Skip to whatever corresponding number in order to read about that specific topic and find what you are looking for. 1) Overview 2) What I Dislike 3) Charging Port/Charging Indicator 5) Charge Time/Battery Satistics 6) Thoughts The Individual Topics Begin Here: 1) Overview: • The ZX600 battery is desighned to fit in place of 3 AA batteries • It is a lithium-polymer battery • It has a hard casing and can be inserted only one way with large marking denoting positive (+) and negative (-) 2) What I Dislike: • I dislike the use of a Micro-USB port to charge the battery instead of a newer USB-C port • Recharge time is ridiculously long 3) Charging Port/Charging Indicator • There is a Micro-USB port on the front of the battery • There is a charging indicator to the left of the Micro-USB port • A solid red light indicates charging and a solid green light indicates the battery is fully charged 4) Charge Time/Battery Satistics: • The battery was tested from completely dead Rated Capacity: 2100 mah Tested Capacity: 2241 mah Charge Speed: 450 mah Time: 5 hours 34 minutes 5) Thoughts: I really like the concept of this battery. I love how it is designed to just fit in place of where AA batteries normally go while still allowing the use of AA batteries if necessary without any fuss. I do wish they would make a generation 2 of this battery adding much needed improvements. Overall, it is a genius solution. 5 |

[60 W] By far the best and most reliable USB to Micro-B cable I've found. Frustration takes a back seat to quality. 5 |

[0.505 lb] I bought this lamp for six reasons. 1. You can use it hands free, very useful when you are hauling your photo gear and a tripod. 2. You can adjust the angle of the beam by turning the light on its central axis 3. You can adjust the size of the beam by rotating the front lens. 4. It can produce a bright light of 1000 lumens 5. The rechargeable battery has enough capacity to produce 1000 lumens for a couple of hours and by choosing a lower lumen light options (available through light switch) it can go much longer. 6. It is USB chargeable. In the couple of months that I have used it, it has performed beautifully on all counts. I am impressed. The only remaining item is long term reliability but so far a great job indeed. I have often found it far easier and more comfortable to wear it around my neck (rather than on my head) as I am usually wearing a winter jacket and found this way to be far more comfortable with the elastic strap going around the collar of my parka and the battery hanging over my chest. I do have a suggestion regarding charging it with the micro USB cable supplied with the battery. Instead of disconnecting the micro end of the cable from the battery box, keep the micro end of the cable permanently connected to the battery box and tie the charging cable (after folding etc) with a velcro tape to the coiled cable which connects the battery to the lamp. Then use the other (regular USB) end of the cable to connect (and disconnect ) to a USB hub. This way there is no danger of damaging the micro end which is built into the battery holder and any damage there shall render the whole light worthless and such damage is not easy to repair. In other words, leave the micro end permanently connected. All in all, I am very satisfied and , in my opinion, it is a great value. Five stars. Ajeet S. 5 |
