[Hypercardioid] Quality, professional microphone that works great in my podcast studio.

[7.43 lb] I use it with my podcast microphone. I really do not know how much benefit to sound quality. Build quality vs price suits me nicely.

[1 lb] Using this light on a video podcast. Works great! Very bright at 100% but can dim it down to any intensity you need. Can also change the color temperature to match existing lights without gels so that is a big plus. Two of the arms can be pulled off to use as secondary fill lights which is convenient but also where I find one of its small flaws. If you use the arms as extensions they don't dim with the rest of the light, they are always at 100%. Not a deal breaker but would have been nice if they could. Even nicer if they could be dimmed at a different level. Maybe on an updated version. The only other issue is that it can't be tilted with the included bracket. Again, not a big deal but would be more useful. Still would recommend for anyone needing a ring light.

[On/Off] I used the Polsen DM-USX1 as a guest microphone for an episode of a friend's podcast. Easy to use via USB or XLR and the sound was pristine. Due to the supercardioid polar pattern, the DM-USX1 made my buddy's untreated room sound better than it should and even better in my home office with some acoustic paneling. Will be using this again! I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

[Yes] I bought this product as another microphone for singing/podcast recording purposes. I've used Shure SM7B, which is legendary for many great reasons, but this microphone is my new favorite! I would highly recommend this mic to anyone who does voiceover, singing, and podcast work. It is pricey, but it definitely pays off!

[End Address] Everywhere I looked for advice while I was preparing to start my podcast recommended this microphone as the best entry level value. It is amazing. The sponge wind screen is enough to block my plosives.

[Side Address] I have to record podcast type audio in a room that has not been sound-treated, in my limited testing this microphone has made me sound better than any other type of microphone by far, (vs a Lavalier, or a shotgun mic) and it did a pretty good job of ignoring the room echo. I am no musician or sound engineer but for my work this one is solid.

[Side Address] Not only does this microphone sound great for podcast and voiceover work, I also found myself really pleased with the aesthetics it added to my desk. The sharp design betrays the fact that this is a sub $150 USB microphone and rather appears more like something from the top-shelf of an audio engineer's mic locker. It’s ridiculously easy to use; I was able to set it up, plug it in and record within 5 minutes. It was great to switch the polar patterns and go from recording solo narration to wide-field stereo foley work with the press of a button. I’ve used Senal microphones in the past and the audio here is a natural evolution to the strong quality that I’ve come to expect. The UC4-B delivers a clean and professional sound at an attainable price point. I received this product in exchange for my honest review.

[48 kHz] I was surprised by the quality of this microphone--I was able to test it out for a podcast scenario, with a PA system, and to record vocals in Logic. The background noise cancellation / rejection is top-notch and vocals are crisp and full sounding. Will be keeping this in the audio kit for sure.
