[Nickel] I used this to connect a portable DVD player to our television. For some reason, an ordinary 3-connector, male-to-male RCA cable did not work. However, when I used this red/white audio-only cable alongside a separate yellow video-only cable, everything worked just fine. 5 |

[Camera-Mount] I plugged in my TV, cable box, DVD player, ROKU and power cable then powered it up and everything just worked. I checked the firmware and it was up to date. I changed the view screen to show Cable Box, DVD and ROKU and that was about it. The ease of operation is great and the sound quality has improved from my previous receiver. The only down side is that I have a phono player that required an addition purchase of a pre-amp, as there is no phono input on this Yamaha A/V receiver....but that was a minor issue. If you don't want to spend a fortune on a A/V receiver I would definitely recommend this Yamaha unit. 5 |

[0.75 lb] We have an older Bose DVD player with a malfunctioning HDMI output that we can still use due to the Pearstone Component Video Cable. The Cable is strong and long enough to easily reach from the DVD player to the Monitor and the picture is very good. Saved us from having to replace the DVD player. 5 |
