Portable Cd Player With Bluetooth Output

[5.515 lb] I use this cd player when away from my tablet. It's much more compact and portable than way 2-way tablet with the cd-player attached.

[-100 dB] My Big Knob unit controls the output from a CD player for input to a 100 WPC amplifier. It is perfect for that application, where the full functions of a preamp, say, are not needed. Beautifully straightforward.

[>90 dB] For what has become my permanent WFH space, this little unit is just about perfect. I've been able to de-clutter and shrink the amount of audio gear even more than expected. The FM tuner, SD/USB media player and CD player features were expected going in, but I was pleasantly surprised that the headphone output drives my 250-ohm Beyerdynamic DT-880 Pro headphones just as well as my dedicated amp, and sounds excellent too. I also have the CD-400U going to a set of Audioengine speakers and the sound quality is very satisfying. I'm curious as to what DAC hardware Tascam has built into this thing, but I'm pleased with the output quality regardless. I haven't even touched the Bluetooth or dubbing capabilities yet. If there were anything I would add to it, it would be a S/PDIF or TOSlink digital out. But overall, zero complaints.

[Steel, Aluminum] My Tascam CD-400U CD player doesn't have variable output. So I put this between it and a Crown XLS 402 (that does have "volume" knobs on the front). The ART equalizer's level controls allow me to effectively lower the output signal to a level that my Crown can work with. So if you were wanting an EQ that will also (help) control your system's volume, I can tell you that in my case it DOES do that. Very happy with purchase.

[2x RCA] I needed a quality audio switch to switch between the audio output of a CD player and the audio output of my TV into a transmitter for my headphones. Being small and lightweight, I just used some velcroe to attach the switch to the topside panel of my entertainment cabinet where its convenient and hardly noticeable. Keeps all those audio cables out of the way too.

[4 GB] The HamiltonBuhl portable cd player is everything advertised. It has a great sound and convenient features, which are easy to use. I would highly recommend this product for anyone looking for a portable cd player.
