Portable Monitor For Laptop 20 Inch

[17.3"] Best portable monitor ever. It's thinner than my laptop but yet so powerful.

It was about time to update my 5-year old 15-inch laptop and was looking for PC with good computing power but with a bigger screen as sometimes I tend multitask a lot. I found this 17-inch LG laptop with the specifications I needed but was hesitant as I didn’t know how portable a 17- inch laptop would be. When I received it I realized this is way more portable than my previous machine. It is way lighter with a better screen. I immediately opened all the 15 tabs I am used to without any performance issues. Speakers are good but could be slight better. In general. I am pretty happy with my purchase. I was able to find a laptop with quite big screen and numeric keyboard without compromising on portability as the weight is perfect while traveling. [16:9] I use this as an additional monitor for my main system and a portable monitor for when I need it with my laptop. Works perfectly!

[17.3"] I own 3 of these for a portable triple monitor setup. I'm tired of seeing only 1080p or 4K 15.6 inch monitors. 1080p isn't often enough. 4K is a little overkill and you might as well change the resolution on your desktop to 2.5K. Well, this is a native 2.5K display. Oh and it's 16:10 aspect ratio so it's actually 2560x1600. The extra height is glorious for working in Davinci Resolve, Blender, and any other program. It also has full size HDMI which is very rare for quality portable monitors. Don't buy the garbage you see floating around on Amazon when it comes to portable monitors. Buy the ASUS. ViewSonic also has some quality options. I like ViewSonic's 1080p OLED, the physical design is better but it's micro HDMI and well ... it could have been 2.5K. Overall ... as of 2024 this is literally the best portable IPS OLED monitor that's affordable you can buy. I used my xRite color calibration tool to calibrate each monitor to 400 nits and Rec709. You can confidently color grade on these. They have minimal back light bleed. ASUS has been releasing 2.5K 15.6 inch 16:10 (same resolution) OLED panels in some of their latest laptops, so we might see a new Zenscreen like this in 2025 as an OLED panel. However, you can't go wrong with a tried and true IPS panel. These are great. Go for it!

[32.5 x 8.8 x 7"] Purchased this to use my EIZO ColorEdge CG279X 27 inch monitor on set with a laptop travel attached to the side via a super clamp. Very sturdy. No real fear of tipping over so far. Could go a little higher, but since the stand spends most of it's no-set time beside my desk, the shorter height is appreciated.

[5.845 lb] Great portable light weight monitor. It was easy to connect to my laptop and my smart phone. It comes with all the necessary cables and a cover to protect the screen. This was a worthwhile purchase, I recommend.

[60 Hz] This portable monitor is a great addition to my traveling setup. It is the size of a laptop screen and fits easily in my backpack along with my other gear. Screen quality is excellent.
