[Yes] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This large yet portable speaker bumps... It has a bass that can be used for added vibration as well as colors for many uses too. It has a built in usb charger port for your electronic devices. It has a 16 hour play time which is best used without the color changing lights they tend to kill the battery faster. The only down fall of this totally awesome speaker is the DC cord it takes to charge the actual speaker itself. I can't get enough of its party mode where you can link a bunch of the speakers of like kind together for more fun and use..

[30.1 lb] Im putting together a budget stereo system, speakers seemed to be the most important part in that scenario. I did a lot of research, TBH, I havent put a system together in a couple of decades. I came across a YouTube vid about the ELAC B5.2. I read another review online that gave them a very good review. Really good. They were more than I wanted to spend but every review was very positive. They do need to be broken in. What amazes me about them is not the powerful bass for a 5.25 speaker but the clean imaging, the clarity of the stage. Crystal clear and clean highs, non-exaggerated midrange and a strong bottom. Im running them through a 100 w/ch amp, there is plenty of bass. What I am impressed with is how they can expose a badly mastered CD and really shine on a good one. If 250.00 is your limit then you cannot do much better than this speaker system.  I had never heard of B&H Video but took a chance, after I ordered I called them and changed the delivery location to a FedEx delivery location. (Porch pirates). Im impressed at the customer service, I would not hesitate to order from them again.

[Bass-Reflex] Great speaker, good design, good bass response, strongly aligned to middle EQ. Get em. Oh yeah, theyre a little bit ugly.

[Bass-Reflex] The sound is very good for a sub $50 speaker set that does not need to be plugged into the wall. I have the pebble speakers without the bass unit and these really do add a lot more bass, but not overpowering bass. They look cool, as well.
