[Black] this is the best preamp value on the market that ive found.....used a avalon in a friends studio, and owned a ua la-610 in my own studio....both of these preamps are 1500 dollars or more, and are not as clean and crisp sounding as the grace designs preamp....and where other preamps take a degree to figure out how they work, and take a LONG TIME to get set to prefrence, this little gem is SIMPLE and very EASY to fine tune....for under seven hundred dollars, this is a professional preamp needed to make the leap from home studio to professional turnkey studio, and buy it from BHPHOTO, they are the best

[Stereo Pair] The monitors are well built and sound great. They have good volume with a very nice amount of bass, and they are not too big for a desk. I connected them to a headphone amp / preamp (PC-DAC-amp/preamp) via RCA and there is very little to no hiss, whine, or static. I’ve only heard a bit of hiss a couple of times in over a few weeks of use. An on/off switch at the front would have been convenient, but my headphone amp/preamp has a remote that allows to turn preamp output on/off and also control the volume, so with a setup like that it is a non-issue. For someone connecting to PC via USB-C directly this is probably not an issue as well. Overall they are reasonably small, well-built speakers that sound great and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good pair of desktop monitors!

[Yes] Seems to be a good value. I use it for my project studio monitors.

[0.3 lb] These are used in a studio/permanent install connectincg a preamp and the room monitor amp. They run around the edge of the room. Construction is solid including the connectors at each end. They seem sturdy enough that I think they might be tough enough to be used as mic cables for gigging out. Good product, good price. BTW, all transactions with B&H have always been perfect. B&H is a great merchant.
