Not only is the Pearstone charger about half the price of Canon's,it also comes with a 12-volt DC attachment so I can charge batteries in my car and with a plug adapter that is the one most commonly needed one in Europe - Canon's charger does not have these.

I wanted to operate my AndyCine monitor on my camera and plug the power adapter in at the floor because it is difficult to have to mount it on the tripod so it isn't dangling. This adapter is perfect for my needs. I'm glad I found it at B&H.
