This is my third set ... one for my studio, another set went into my agent's voiceover audition studio, and I finally bought a pair on sale for my entertainment room in the house. I first learned about and heard them in a microphone manufacturers lab where they QC their manufacturing process on ribbon microphones.

[Aluminum] The best triple shoe for the price. Others cost up to twice as much. I love it. It is just big enough for a mic, flood and spot light. Mount up to three select accessories to a shoe mount with the black Vidpro VB-3 Triple Shoe Mount Bracket. The 5 wide bracket features three cold shoe mounts for use with flashes, microphones, and other gear. A turn screw on the bottom of the mount is used for securing the mount to a shoe. The mount also works with 1/4-20 and 3/8 mounts. Photographers will appreciate the built-in backstops that help secure gear, and the durable metal construction.

[Not Compatible] The tripod has been with me every day for three weeks, look like new and works like a charm. For the price point, this unit works like one double or triple the cost. I highly recommend this product.

[Black] I all ready have camera straps from OP/Tech and the triple carrier is easy for me to use. The price is very good compare to other companies. It saves the neck from pain when carrying two cameras and binoculars.
