First, the print spend is great, the print quality is sharper, and the color is bright and vibrant The paper saving and double-sided printing is automatic versus having to print 1 page and turn it over and print again on the other side. Second, no more messy spills, dried ink on the print head, color bleed or constantly buying ink refills. Thanks to their toner-based system, prints from color laser printers resist fading and smudging over time, and print a lot before needing to buy a new toner cartridge Lastly, Their HP smart app is extremely useful and simplified. You have access to your printer settings, order supplies (instant ink), and print, scan, or copy photos and documents straight from your phone. It's an easy install When it comes to precision and speed, this HP color laser printer stands tall. HP Color LaserJet Pro 3301fdw laser technology ensures sharp, crisp text and images with every print. But it's not just about speed and precision; color laser printers also excel in longevity. [Standard] It was correct ink for my laser printer

[TWAIN, WIA, ICA] This is a very capable printer perfect for the home or small office. I live in a household that does a lot of printing. My husband works from home and prints a lot and we have kids that use the printer as well. I unplugged our current laser printer and connected the M3170 to our home network. The setup was easy and straightforward. We have multiple computers that we connected to the printer. Print quality and speed is excellent. The large tank is easy to fill. We initially switched to a laser because we got tired of dealing with small cartridges or tanks that don’t hold a lot of ink. This printer is capable of printing up to 6000 pages without adding ink which addresses that problem. Purchasing ink is cheaper than buying laser cartridges which make the printer cost-effective. My husband’s PC was connected to the printer via Ethernet while the rest of the family connected wirelessly. We were able to send large print jobs to the printer without any issues whatsoever. We also sent print jobs to the printer simultaneously from different PC’s and there were no problems. Built in scanners and duplex-printing is a common feature in printers these days. Both scanning and 2-sided printing work as designed. I wish Epson rearranged the buttons on the front of the printer to allow for a larger screen. I also wish there was a scan to USB option which is common in a lot of laser printer models. Overall the M3170 is an excellent printer. Print quality is on par with laser printers. The printer is easy to use. If you’re looking for a quality alternative to a laser printer that is less expensive to operate then you can’t go wrong with this model. [600 x 600 dpi] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m the owner of a small sword fighting/ martial arts school. We do a fair amount of printing for promotions. A good color printer is essential to our success. For the last ten years we have used a HP Color Laser Jet CP1518ni. It has been an excellent partner in our endeavors. The best suitable upgrade appears to be the new HP Laser Jet Pro 4201dn. It’s full color capability and high speed printing (@ 35PPM) it is exactly what we need. Installation was as easy as plugging in the USB cord and performing the guided setup on the 2.7” screen by running through a few menus. The one challenge presented was that the scroll button/knob doesn’t seem secure and sturdy. The best feature of this printer for me is that the toner cartridges are reasonably priced and produce thousands of copies per cartridge. This printer is one of the best values out there today. I’m looking forward to many years of service.

[25 to 400%] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After many years of settling for a black and white laser printer, I finally decided to splurge for my dream of color laser printing. The HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP 3301fdw checks all my boxes. The size of the unit fits precisely where my old, ancient multifunction printer fit. It seems to be about the same size as their multifunction inkjet printers. This unit is built very well. The doors, hinges and trays are sturdy with a good weight to them. The setup process was a breeze. As soon as I powered on the unit, I was asked to join my wifi network. A firmware update took place immediately, and I was ready to print within 3 minutes of plugging the unit in. I ran a test by printing a full page color photo of my kids from my phone. It received and printed the photo in a total of 6 seconds. I do believe the PPM rating on this unit is a little underrated. When printing invoices, I was able to print 38 full page invoices which included color in a little over a minute. I always choose HP LaserJet printers. My first HP LaserJet from 1993 still works. This is my 5th HP LaserJet in my lifetime, and they have never let me down. I only upgrade over the years for the newer features. Thanks HP!

[Color] I needed a color printer occasionally as my laser is black & white for most of my printing I also needed an updated scanner to replace my old one! And on top of this, it was completely set up in minutes... I love this!!! I can also print from my cellphone!

[Color] My 12-year-old Xerox color laser died. I decided I needed a medium-duty color laser printer for my wife's business, and we home-schooled our daughter. I followed the instructions and updated the software/firmware before using the laser. The AirPrint works fantastic, and it's faster than my old color laser printer. However, I did have a ghosting or blurry text printing issue when printing color PDF documents. It took over an hour with Brother tech support to resolve the problem, but we fixed it by changing the printer settings to AUTO mode. If you have PDF printing issues with blurry or fuzzy text, ensure your laser printer settings are in AUTO mode.

[11.8 lb] If you want a great color printer, the Brother HL-L8360CDW is the one for you. The printer is a color laser printer so you will not have to worry about ink drying up in the lines like a inkjet printer. The toner is a little expensive, but typical for the improvement in printer quality.

[19 x 19 x 14.5"] This is my third Brother laser printer, but my first color model. They are all reliable and economical. On the other hand Ink jet printers have let me down too many times.
